We sell by pre-order and rarely hold stock. Nothing outstanding was ever built quickly.
FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.
Size Chart:
Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.
HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)
CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.
ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).
If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.
"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.
If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves shortened from a minimum of 3cm for you when possible (most of the time it is). Typically alterations take 3 - 4 weeks.

A highly detailed, fully waterproof jacket, with a superb hood, vents & cargo pockets.
What don't packable waterproofs have? Enough pockets. What should they look like? Not like bin bags.
Waterproofs tend to focus only on technical performance and not on style, comfort, storage and real-world use. I designed the 4 Seasons Waterproof with versatility and utility in mind. It’s a jacket that you invest in, designed to wear any time of year, from an open-air gig in Hyde Park, to a long hike across The Pennines.
Temperature range 8-18c, or 4-14c with layers underneath. High breathability. Can withstand prolonged heavy rain and high winds.
The 4 Seasons Waterproof is tech without the geek. It’s subtly presented, with all the usual FRAHM features of toughness, utility, adjustability and beautiful detailing.
At its core is a fully sealed, soft, matt-textured 3-layer stretch nylon fabric. It was created for us in Como, Italy, with comfort and breathability at its core.
It doesn't have that shiny plastic bin bag feel and noise that plagues waterproofs. The inner layer is soft and doesn’t stick to your skin. With a high proportion of elastane, it moves freely so you can do the same. This compliments a fit that’s structured but forgiving, for real men’s bodies. It can easily accommodate a thick jumper or multiple layers.
The hood is exceptional (if we do say so ourselves - and we do). It’s a 6-panel construction with a proper storm-peak that allows exact shaping around the head, once the front and rear shock-cord adjusters are ‘twanged’ satisfyingly. You can enjoy full peripheral vision, with face coverage and a close fit. It’s our pride and joy.
As ever, the detailing is bonkers. There are concealed, unique vents under the arms, like a shark's gills, that allow warm, moist air out. We’ve added large cargo pockets with our trademark FRAHM hand pockets behind them. There’s a fully waterproof chest pocket for a smartphone. Oversize YKK Aquaguard zips sit alongside Italian stainless steel barrel cord locks and Shimada Japanese rubber zip pulls.
Now, get out there and use it; for years of service.

I'm not sure Nick and the design team thought this jacket would see much action on golf courses but wow - this could be the best golf jacket in the world! I'm not long finished a round in Scotland's, ahem, 'traditional' climate of 'pishing it down' and before the round grabbed by 4 seasons Frahm. I'm so glad I did. Waterproof golf jackets have always been tricky to navigate. Too tight, restricted movement, crinkly fabric that makes a racket when swinging and moving, seeping, dripping etc... And I own some of the BIG golf brand jackets, you know, not naming names but 1 rhymes with Calvin Screen. If you are familiar with this market you will know it is pricey. So this jacket, given it can be uses for a multitude of activities and uses is a BARGAIN! I was BONE DRY. The adjustment, those fabulous scalloped cuffs even kept my glove dry, and that peaked hood seems like it was invented for the golf course, not a drip on my face. And not to mention I looked the mutts nuts, the jacket is so flattering and classy looking, not easy to do in a rain jacket with a dad bod! Guys in my group AND back at the clubhouse were asking where I got my 'Golf Jacket'. Honestly, Nick, get a couple of ads in some golf magazines, you have happened upon a new market here! Absolute hero of a jacket.
Family member was so impressed demanded one of their own - stops them borrowing mine. Purchased in black. Lovely material. Highly recommended
I’ve bought a few Frahms before which are predominantly stylish smart casual jackets but with greater utility than most- ie they look and feel good and while they often don’t claim to be waterproof, they inevitably turnout to be highly water resistant. In some ways the 4 seasons is the other way round- it is predominantly a high performance waterproof but with much more style and feels nicer material and a better fit than most. This isn’t going to be my choice for very serious mountaineering- it needs to be longer for that which I knew before buying- but for leisurely walking or just going out when you know it’s going to rain hard it’s great. Any waterproof and breathable jacket should bead water- but the beading on this is very impressive. The half scalloped and half elastic cuffs are really good giving protection but without nasty Velcro flaps. Overall I’m very happy with the jacket- it has the balance of performance and style just right.
