Size & Fit Guide

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

Size Chart:

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves shortened from a minimum of 3cm for you when possible (most of the time it is). Typically alterations take 3 - 4 weeks.

If you have any questions please do Live Chat or email us on hello@frahmjacket.com

Everyone loves a puffer. So lightweight, warm & easy… Yet so unflatteringly shiny, plastic & inflated.

Thus, we created a more stylish, grownup version, with a subdued ripstop outer that doesn’t tear open at the sight of a thorn, plush pockets, a more masculine silhouette & those tiny FRAHM details that add up to a better puffer, without shouting.

A total all rounder = Classic

This is a top quality jacket unlike most other puffers it has style and cut that flatters the body and wraps you up in all the right places. It's ideal for such a wide range of temperatures despite bing padded. I wear t with just a T Shirt most of the time, but in large you can get a dcent layering system worked up if needed. It's understated, not showing, but it glows with quality and you just feel great wearing it. I got a blue one in Large - If more colours come out I'll be tempted!

2023 Puffer, great, but.......

I am really pleased with this jacket but have one small niggle. Like many Dads, when I go out I usually have a phone, wallet, car keys, dog lead in addition to my supervisory duties over dogs, kids etc. With only the breast pocket having a zip (excluding the poacher's pocket at the back) it means items placed in the two front pockets are not particularly secure as the pockets are not deep and thus prone to items falling-out and in crowded areas run the risk being 'dipped' by pick pockets - unless of course you walk with your hands in said pockets! An option to have zips on these front pockets would, IMHO, have been very a useful addition to a jacket that I have to be selective where I wear it.

I received this in the autumn and have worn it more than any other jacket I have through the winter. It's what I have come to expect from FRAHM: luxurious, functional and stylish. To pick out one feature as a favourite, I'd say I particularly like the fleece-lined pockets. I have this in size L, which has been spot on for me with three FRAHM jackets (and one t-shirt) so far. All in all, another beauty that will last a long, long time.

Puffer Jacket pockets

I bought my first Frahm jacket in 2023, a ripstop puffer jacket, and am delighted with it. Smart, practical, tough and warm. No real negatives as far as I am concerned. However the advertising is not entirely truthful regarding pockets: the outer chest pocket is advertised as being large enough for a smartphone. WRONG- my phone is 16cm long and getting it in and out of the pocket takes some maneuvering, so I keep it in the inside pocket. My phone model is one of the shorter and narrower modern smartphones, most will just not fit that pocket at all. And as for getting a flask in the poacher's pocket (your photo), someone is having a laugh! A little more honesty, please!

They've only gone and done it again!

Wow, just wow. I’ve taken my time to review this to test it and see how it coped in different conditions. Frankly it’s been my go-to jacket 80% of the time I’ve ventured outside since receiving it. It’s warm, roomy to enable wearing layers when it’s really cold and so well made it feels indestructible. The only problem I have now is I’m becoming addicted to Frahm. I’ve since ordered two more items and have my eye on something else for next year.
