I've been super frugal all year but it was time to splash out. Over the years I've had Harrington style jackets. Flight jackets. Even a second hand Belstaff copy and my dad's old Barbour. All cheap and cheerful. The flight jacket was an Alpha Industries one and not so cheap at the time. Anyway my Frahm has many of the styling nods and is lovely quality so I'm chuffed. I followed the sizing guide and was tempted by Medium as I wanted it to look fitted. But the guides pointed to Large and thank goodness as there's room for a jumper in winter as the jacket is windproof but not warm as such. I have received compliments from two ladies I know for it. My mate said something less complimentary but then admitted he was jealous. I clicked on black which was out of stock so went for green. Glad I did as it is a suitable colour for the waxed material.
waited ages to buy a Frahm jacket. , finally took the plunge. The jacket arrived in a few days. I knew the jacket would be excellent quality but it exceeded my expectations. It fits perfectly , I normally wear a medium and would have bought that size but I used the sizing guide on the web site which suggested I buy large, glad I did. Love everything about this company and can’t wait to buy another. Many thanks
I find it hard to spend money on myself and when I do I take so much time deliberating and talknig myself out of it.
The jacket arrived 3 days after purchase and with trepidation I unwrapped and tried it on. Congratulations to Nick and everyone involved in producing such a wonderful garment, I can see it being the jacket I always reach for before heading out the door. You can tell from the website the care love and attention that is made in both the desgn and production, everyone should be proud, such a refreshing change from the throw away fashion that we see so much of on the high street.
I can honestly say buying a timeless classic garment is an investment and although I am still recovering from spending money on myself I predict I will at some stage be back on this website to make another purchase.
Finally I have found a cotton cycling jacket. Cycling in a breathable cotton jacket is something completely different. I have cycled distances of over 100k in the windy southern Sweden with the jacket and I am fantastically happy. This is the jacket I can wear both on my bike rides but even when I arrive I use the same jacket.
My Harrington Racer looks and feels absolutely fantastic. It is one of the best investments as it allows me be all the different beings I need to be. Town and country. Work and play. Rain and shine. Warm and cool. The attention to detail is exceptional in the fit, material, pockets, cuffs, linings, shape, subtle branding, zips, collar, vents and colour. I went for red because I’m up for making a big statement at the moment (thanks for the tip, Nick). Thank you Frahm for the painstaking effort you have made thinking of everything, and the £10 to Mind to support good mental health. I have already started saving up for my next Frahm design.
Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.
FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.
Size by measurements, not that you are a 'Large' or 'XL' in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.
If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is. We are experienced fitters.
"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit. Our arm lengths are longer than most.
If you have short arms, we will happily have your sleeves altered for you when possible (most of the time it is). Please Live Chat or email us to discuss.
