Expected a well-made, tough, and exquisitely tweaked jacket. Got all of that. Expected the only downside to be a boxy fit on something so ruggedly built. And yet, inexplicably, it fits in a flattering and tailor-made way. Not sure how Nick pulls this kind of thing off, and yet he always does! Well done, couldn’t recommend highly enough. I’m 160lbs, ~40inch chest, athletic build, and got a Medium, for reference, since sizing can always be tricky online (although totally nailed it, in this case).
Keep up the good work, Frahm!
Last week I received my classic navy woodland workers jacket and immediately I was really impress the weight, the lining and the fit. It's been installed so far as a regular dog walking jacket in quite a range of Scottish weathers! It has been great and keeping me warm with the current wind we have had and even when I got caught out in a thunderstorm I remained completely dry and the jacket held its own superbly- Something that I wanted to test and I was really pleased with the outcome.
In terms of the fit the sizing for me was spot on and plenty of space for storage. It has proven particularly versatile being able to be warm with t shirt when it is warmer in which case you notice the lovely lining in the sleeves or when wanting to wrap up warmer with a thick jumper. It is a great jacket which I am looking forward to continuing to wear which looks great on the outside, awesome on the inside (the lining is top notch) and most importantly for me can handle the Scottish weather!
I now have added the Woodland Workers Jacket to my collection, and I have to say it’s every bit as good as my lightweight workers Jackets. Well pleased. Thanks Nick.
While I’m a huge fan of my other Frahm jackets, this one is my favourite. It’s rugged but smart, and every little detail has clearly been thought through carefully. The cut is generous but still somehow flattering, and the lining is just gorgeous. It’s simply a quality item in every way!
I took delivery of a Utility Field jacket on the 24th of January and was so impressed by it that I smashed open my piggy bank and immediately ordered a Lightweight Worker’s jacket and a Woodland Worker’s jacket. Not something I did lightly!
I took delivery of them both, last weekend, and I’m not disappointed. In fact I’m highly delighted with them. They’re both great. Same consistent design features, quality and value for money. I particularly like the American tan colour and the ’tartan’ lining of the Woodland Worker’s jacket – spot on. The Lightweight Worker’s jacket is even appropriately named – I’m a work shy fop.
You won’t regret it, if you invest in either of these jackets.
FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and movement. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut. Our customers rave about our fit.
Our best guide to size is your favourite existing jacket or suit jacket. Look for the inches or CM, not "medium" or "large", as these definitions differ wildly between brands.
"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso.Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit. Our arm lengths are longer than most.
If you have any questions or concern you are an unusual fit, email us on firstname.lastname@example.org or Live Chat us (bottom right hand corner here) and we will discuss sizing with your personally.
