The FRAHM Lightweight Worker’s Jacket is a detailed, wonderfully comfortable - yet tough throw-on casual option for Spring, Summer,  early Autumn and indoors.

Go to option for the artist or workshop dweller, a Chore Coat, French Worker’s Jacket, or Work Shirt is a must have for the warmer months and work indoors.

As ever, we’ve taken a classic style and augmented it. The brushed Italian fabric is a tough ripstop that is somehow also crease resistant, showerproof and cool against the skin.

There are pockets galore, with two main lower cargo pockets, with hand pockets behind (it drives its nuts not to have anywhere to put hands). Add in a buttoned chest pocket, with a zipped chest pocket opposite it.

We have paid particular attention to the buttons. These are real horn, brushed for a wonderful hand feel. The thread is triple woven through to a smaller holding button to the rear, with the thread then bound around the button at it’s centre to create an extremely tough and long lasting natural fixing. These buttons will not be falling off.

There button cuffs with two widths to select, a short casual collar that can be turned up if desired, and red seam bindings within. As ever we use heavy duty twin needle stitching to add longevity.

This is a jacket to be worked: spattered with oil paints, grabbed from a pub bench and thrown on as the sun goes down or to smarten up a Summer work outfit.

Weather range, with t-shirt from 10c to 24c - mild to warm days, wind & light showers. Or use as layer under heavier jacket in cold weather.

£10 from each jacket sold will be donated to Mind mental health charity.

First time purchase. Couldn't be more pleased both with the quality and service received. Would certainly purchase again.

Just right.

The jacket you never thought you needed, but now can’t live without. Just wish the zipped pocket would fit a mobile phone...maybe when version 2 gets designed?.

Workers jacket

Great jacket & clear sizing. Inside pocket would be nice. Only criticism - May have to buy another Frahm jacket!

And again... it's a 5 from me

The Worker's Jacket couldn't have arrived at a better time - whilst the days recently in the South of England have been incredibly warm, the temperature has dropped in the evenings and my new jacket has been the perfect extra layer. I've pottered about in the garden, picked up the kids, been to the pub - in short, I've worn it every damn day. I was a little unsure whether the French blue colour might be too lary, but it's spot-on, and it goes with everything.
Construction, fit, fabric choice, button detailing - all sublime. As I said in the title, it's a 5 from me.

Dear Nick

dear Nick

I thought I should send you a review of the recent jacket I purchased from you.

We communicated by email re sizing and colour, and you were absolutely right in suggesting I went for the French blue rather than the navy. The jacket fitted perfectly - an XL for a 6ft slightly gone-to-seed ex-swimmer was just right for the slightly unusual drop for my shoulder - abdo ratio.

Quality excellent, finish very high spec, loved the buttons. Within three minutes of arrival in my local Thames-side inn I had two envious questions as to where I had bought it. Weight just right for spring / summer and I reckon would be fine for the south of France as a travel jacket.

Thanks for honouring your price pledge even though I had ordered it a couple of days previously.

Only reservation - might have gone for a powder-blue piping around the chest pocket and interior rather than red, but then I am a pernickety old git.

Oh, and one other comment re. your marketing - ain't no way way any paint is getting anywher near this, dude -

Really liked your company blog and attitude by the way - this is the future of honest branding I hope -
