I knew it would be good. I’d seen the pictures, read the descriptions. Followed the excellent Instagram account(where you get to know the people behind the clothing, and understand why, and the standards that go into the how) I just had to get it signed off by my other half. As, as Emma puts it “you have a fetish for jackets” true. But because of this, I think I have a great collection from some extremely well know high-end companies. And I have to admit, this Harrington absolutely fits in with the jackets that cost double. And there really is lots of little details(almost Easter eggs) that you don’t get with the really big boys. And I like that. Makes you feel like you have bought something much closer to bespoke. The sizing calculator on the website was also excellent. I had to be blushingly honest, but the jacket fits me really well. I even like the little hand written certificate that came with it. As this company grows, I do hope things like that can be kept. And am sure they will. I just need one for my wife now. Surely that just be in the cars soon enough....
i saw my friend ( Peter Askew) in one of these jackets ages ago and thought it looked great, i loved the styling and the material, So i bought an Olive green one in Medium, and i love it!, it is exactly what i wanted.
then imagine my pleasure when i get an email about the " Moving Box" offer.
so now i have a blue one too!...Result!.
I do not usually spend the amount of money FRAHM jackets are listed for on clothes. I'm not very fashion-conscious, and I tend to stick to styles, colours and brands that are fairly middle of the road. I needed a new autumn jacket and FRAHM popped up on my instagram. I really liked the look and the fact that it was from the south west, like me, was a plus. I spend a week or so umming and arring over the jacket as it was more money than I have probably spent on any item of clothing (with the exception of suits!) in the last decade.
I decided to go for it, and I am really, really glad I did. It feels so quality I can understand why it justified the price tag. As I am not a particularly snappy dresser, I never really receive compliments on my clothing. The first time I wore the jacket out I received not one but two enquiries as to where I had got it from and comments on how nice it was!
If you are in the same boat as me and are slightly worried by the price tag I would wholeheartedly suggest you go for it. It is worth every penny.
A great jacket that fits, is everything I was led to believe and delivered super fast!
I can attest this jacket is fantastic quality. I love the cavalry cuff on the sleeve (if that's the right way of saying it). And the overall quality is evident. I'm just hoping for a bit of cold weather now so I can wear it. Very much recommend.
FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and movement. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut. Our customers rave about our fit.
Our best guide to size is your favourite existing jacket or suit jacket. Look for the inches or CM, not "medium" or "large", as these definitions differ wildly between brands.
"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso.Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit. Our arm lengths are longer than most.
If you have any questions or concern you are an unusual fit, email us on email@example.com or Live Chat us (bottom right hand corner here) and we will discuss sizing with your personally.
