Size & Fit Guide

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

Size Chart:

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves shortened from a minimum of 3cm for you when possible (most of the time it is). Typically alterations take 3 - 4 weeks.

If you have any questions please do Live Chat or email us on hello@frahmjacket.com

My second FCJ, which kinda says it all!

What’s not to like about the Frahm Foreign Correspondent’s Jacket?! It’s got everything, and then some. It’s smart enough to wear on a night out or to a work meeting, but also causal enough not to look too dressy when standing on the terraces at a football match. In terms of versatility, it’s pitched perfectly. And of course, it oozes class & style. The fit of the 3XL is great - I’m 5’11” with an athletic build at 100Kg, and even when its many pockets are stuffed it retains its form & clean lines. I bought my first FCJ, a black one, around 18 months ago, and quickly fell in love with it - it gets worn often and is wearing very well as expected. Something I really like about it, is it’s low maintenance, unlike so many other waxed jackets by the bigger brands - you know, the ones that look beat-up and worn out soon after they’re purchased. Not so with the Frahm FCJ! So, when I saw the FCJ was going to be rereleased in 2024, I didn’t hesitate to snap up another one, this time in navy blue. In between purchasing my two FCJ’s, I also got a Harrington Racer Jacket, the unlined one, which I love. I love that so much I’m also planning to buy the lined version. Oh, and I’ve got my eye on another 2 styles for future purchases. And then there’s the Pea Coat that’s just launched, so make that 3 styles I now have on my shopping list! So if you’re a would-be newbie to the Frahmily, don’t hesitate in snapping one up - even with the wait time you won’t be disappointed, and when your chosen jacket does finally arrive, your decision to wait, pay upfront, and spend a little more than perhaps you intended on a jacket that will stand the test of time and not fall foul of changing fashions & fads, will be vindicated. And then you’ll find yourself checking out the other styles and planning your next Frahm purchase!

Tried & Tested Travel

My Foreign Correspondent’s jacket arrived just in time for my trip to Germany.Proved ideal for travel with a pocket for everything. Passport and phone lived in secure pockets that were easily accessible when needed. The jacket perfectly suited the mixed weather we had, so apart from very hot climes it will be my go to travel coat.

FCJ

This jacket wears really well, made from obviously top quality waxed cotton and with so many pockets makes it great to wear on site. I particularly like the belt buckle, feels like you could climb mountains using it.
I gave it 5 stars but would make one suggestion…. A 2 way zip would be handy.

Foreign Correspondent's Jacket - Dark Navy

Well.... what can I say !!
I waited patiently for the jacket to arrive and yet again Frahm have delivered a fantastic, smart yet tough, very hard wearing jacket, with plenty of pockets, but for me the main (important) one is a breast pocket big enough for a Samsung S24 Ultra, and this jacket deliverers on all aspects. Excellent quality as always. and the fit is perfect. The hardest decision is whether I should have gone for the American Tan as maybe there is a limit to the amount of blue Frahm jackets one can own.
