Size Guide
Size & Fit Guide
Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

Size Chart:

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves shortened from a minimum of 3cm for you when possible (most of the time it is). Typically alterations take 3 - 4 weeks.

If you have any questions please do Live Chat or email us on hello@frahmjacket.com

Nick (found of FRAHM) wanted to create a tougher, more weather resistant and casual version of our popular Original Lightweight Worker's Jacket.

Chore coats, or French worker's jackets, tend to be plain, heavy cotton, and we wanted to offer something more structured and long lasting, yet light. We also love the fact that this light waxed cotton looks better scrunched up, after it's whisked back out of a backpack, once you're past airport security.

Quality Materials

Soft, light, washable, waxed cotton from Halley Stevensons of Dundee, Scotland. This fabric arrives with crease lines and a classic waxed pattina; part of the garment’s character.

Thorn resistant, showerproof and cool against the skin.

Corozo nut buttons. Triple wound and secured at the rear so they don't come loose.

YKK custom hardened stainless steel chest zip.

Heavy duty twin needle stitching, as with all FRAHM Jackets, for greater strength and longevity.

Contrast colour inner seam bindings for clean, comfortable lines.

Black tonal embroidered brand label on upper right arm.

6 pockets in total.

Two main lower cargo pockets, with hand pockets behind.

Buttoned chest pocket, with a YKK zipped chest pocket opposite it.

Pleated elbow articulation.

Tough button adjusted cuffs.

Heavy duty twin needle stitching, as with all FRAHM Jackets, for greater strength and longevity.

Casual collar that can be worn turned up if preferred.

Available in 11 sizes, more than any other brand.

Each FRAHM has an embroidered authenticity label sewn into it. The artwork changes each year, to show which unique year you own.

All care instructions are in plain English on a herringbone embroidered label, sewn into the jacket.

Machine wash on a cool, low spin with non-bio or sensitive detergent; no conditioner; dry flat or hang. If you use conditioner by mistake, just rinse.

Waxed fabric does not need reproofing.

Will dry quickly, iron cool, or don’t bother - we don’t!

Fully biodegradable natural exterior and interior fabrics, apart from the metal zip.

Sourced entirely from British and European materials. Made in the EU.

Tuscan Yellow, pleases this fellow!

Lightweight, low maintenance wear, this is just a joy to chuck on over a T- or polo shirt. Quite fancy it in the Moss Green for next year. It's a nice summer choice - this or the unlined Frahm Harrington?

Astonishingly good!

I have wanted to invest in a Frahm for a number of years and when I finally had the opportunity it didn't disappoint. Having taken the opportunity to get my hands on this waxed lightweight worker I knew I'd like it but I was genuinely blown away (although it's just the wind and light rain trying to blow me away in the photos, bonus dog content!). The fit is extraordinary, the design stunning and the quality surpasses ANY item of clothing I have ever owned before. I really shouldn't have been astonished given all the other great reviews but I am! I also thought I'll road test it for a couple of months before posting a review just in case I find anything I don't like but I just end up liking it more and more. My only problem now is that I can't wear this in all weathers and seasons so it looks like I've got to invest in some more Frahm classics.

Outstanding as usual from Frahm

I have a few Frahm jackets, usually preferring zipped styles. This is my first lightweight waxed workers in dark navy and first buttoned jacket - don’t know why I’ve held out so long - it’s an absolute winner. smart and light - might have to go for the cobalt blue next year. Cheers Frahm.
