FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

Size Chart:

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves shortened from a minimum of 3cm for you when possible (most of the time it is).

If you have any questions please do Live Chat or email us on hello@frahmjacket.com

Parkas are incredible for harsh winter conditions, but the big brands seem intent on making either shiny synthetic or baggy fashion versions. I wanted to make a world-beater. A less flimsy, more grown up, more detailed parka built with longevity and quality in mind.

The design is testament to classic Arctic exploration kits and Scandinavian military designs, with increased performance. My initial design notes say "tough as nails". It is.

Quality that you can only understand by touch.

I was lucky enough to win a competition from FRAHM. I chose the Military Parker and the mechanics jacket. The parker is astounding! Honestly, the feel of weight, warmth and astounding quality I can't put into words. I will be purchasing from them in the future as the quality outweighs the cost easily. And helping a charity for mental health which is close to my heart. Everybody wins. Be warned, the deep pockets will make you a packing mule!

Survived Arctic Norway wearing the Thermal Military Parka in search of Northern Lights

When I booked a cruise to the Arctic Circle to search for the Northern Lights in Norway I was not too worried about not finding the Aurora. I was more terrified about the cold. It was planned for late January - was it bravery or foolhardiness?! Doing some research I found the Frahm range, and was attracted by the Thermal Military Parka. Initially shocked by the price, but decided to get it as an investment. I was also keen to see if it was worth all the hype. Waited a long time for it to arrived but my anticipation was rewarded. Beautifully designed and crafted. Fitted like a dream. A little heavier than I expected but appreciated the high quality materials used. Nice touches like large pockets for gloves, phone, wallet, binoculars were really useful while trundling along the icy roads. I found the zip a bit fiddly to start but got used to it eventually. The verdict? The parka did what it promised. I survived the Arctic winter comfortably. The hood kept my head and neck warm. I didn’t need an additional scarf. I have no hesitation in recommending it. ps. And I did managed to see the Northern Lights.
