I've now had the chance to try my waterproof jacket out on a 4-day walk in Wales (where it didn't rain at all) and a 6-day walk in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, where (at last) I was able to test its performance in the rain.
My conclusion is that it's a great jacket. It fits well, it's comfortable to wear and it's effective in both wind and rain - I had one long day walking on the peat bogs in the rain and was as dry as a bone under the jacket. As someone who wears glasses, the peak of the hood helps keep the worst of the rain offf my glasses too.
This is my first ever Frahm jacket and I will be looking to buy another one next year.
I love it ...looks great
I love this high-end jacket. It really does do everything boasted about in the advert as well as looking good and fitting me perfectly too. In truth, I've only been caught out in one small shower so far, but the water fell off like on a duck's back. really pleased and wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anyone.
Bought as a 'spare', which has now become my 'primary' waterproof. Quality materials used. Excellent finish and construction with some really great little touches in design that just make this stand out from the rest of the market.
I have a similarly costed( possibly £50 more) jacket which looks and feels like it comes from Millets end of season sale compared to FRAHM.
Will definitely buy from them again.
Delighted with my new 4 Seasons Waterproof jacket. The comfort, fit and quality of manufacture is really excellent. Love the Forest Green colour and it’s kept me dry without being too hot (the shark bill put vents are great). I thought long and hard about sizing before ordering the 3XL (I’m usually an XL or 2XL) but having checked the size guide and looked at the site photos I’m glad I did, as I like a slightly looser fit than photos on the site and the 3XL gave me just what I wanted. Highly recommended.
