1. WHY FRAHM LOVES WORKER'S JACKETS

THROW ON, FORGET

Originally created for labourers, factory workers and farmers, worker's jackets (or chore jackets) were built tough.

Typically designed in heavy, durable cotton fabrics, we wanted to retain the durability, but make them lighter, more comfortable, functional and stylish, with a more tailored cut.

The traditional cut is boxy and casual. Traditionally all worker's jackets also have three exterior patch pockets, for storing tools, carrots, or mice (we assume). We've made each one with 6!

Another classic, improved.

THE LEADER OF THE PACK

Launched in 2019, the Lightweight Worker's Jacket was our first foray into this classic style.

Made with soft, brushed Italian fabric from Como, it's sleek but chunk. Bonkers comfortable and highly practical for outside the pub as the sun goes down, bashing away at a keyboard in an air-conditioned office, or sitting amongst wild flowers, contemplating.

It has always been hugely popular, selling out fast on pre-order, so we decided to expand upon it.

We added 'Original' to the front of the first Lightweight Worker's Jacket design, so you know it's the daddy bear. Very proud.

EMBRACE EASY GOING

We don't iron much. Too busy and too lazy. It's a FRAHM thing, to use low-iron fabrics.

This chore/worker's style really lends itself to mooching about. Creases are ok. Encouarged, almost. Of course, you can iron it, but embrace the easy going jacket life instead.

T-shirt, jeans, chill.

3. WASH & CARE

SIMPLE WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

Almost all our garments are machine washable. Yes, even our waxed cotton can be cleaned. Progress, huh!

All care instructions are embroidered into the inside of each jacket in plain English. We've made it simple & easy.

Hand wash or machine wash gently (low spin).

Wash COOL. This is vital. Heat will kill your jacket.

Use non-biological, or better still, sensitive (awww) liquid. Bio tablets or liquid have enzymes in them that can destroy a jacket.

No conditioner. Conditioner kills technical fabrics.

Cool iron.

If in doubt, wash regularly. Washing helps maintain a jacket.

Your jacket will fade a bit with time, like denim, And like denim, the character and style will only become more personal and unique.

All our jackets are made in the EU from purely British or EU sourced fabrics & materials.
