Corduroy Worker's Jacket 2021

Size & Fit Guide

Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

measurement guide

Next, compare your measurements with our size chart below to see which Frahm jacket is right for you. Our jumpers are also sized in the same way.

size chart

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves altered for you when possible (most of the time it is). Please Live Chat or email us to discuss.

A wonderfully soft and forgiving jacket designed in lightweight cord. We have used British Courtney's corozo nut buttons & soft blue Chambray lining in key areas, making this a purely natural, vegan and biodegradable jacket.

NICK'S DESIGN NOTES

"Corduroy is enjoying a deserved renaissance. Wonderfully soft & forgiving, it's also hard wearing. True unpretentious luxury. I wanted to make an easy, lightweight cord jacket that's at home in a field as it is in a bar."

Corduroy is definitely Tough & Beautiful. It's velvety without being showy, tough without being harsh. The lines and lines have a graphic quality that reflect light in ever different ways. Cord is far from dull. We've gone to our usual lengths to build a jacket with very exacting detail, and tweaked a classic style, for what we hope (and think) is a market leading corduroy jacket.

This is a mid to needle weight 'Wale' of 11, meaning it has masculine chunk, but still elegant.

There's the ubiquitous (for FRAHM) twin needle stitching, British Courtney's corozo nut buttons & soft blue Chambray lining in key areas, making this a purely natural, vegan and biodegradable jacket.

There's a pen & sunglasses pocket and as ever with all our jackets, sleek hand pockets. The chest pockets are buttoned. There's refined stitch detail coming through from the Chambray at the hand pockets to complete clean tailored lines.

Lush (as we say in Somerset - well, I do anyway)

Use inside or outside in mild to cold weather, in sun, wind or light rain. With a single layer the temperature range is 8c to +20c, or down to 4c with a jumper. The fit is forgiving and can accommodate a jumper or multiple thin layers.

In typical Frahm style, this jacket is beautifully made and full of quality. Fits so well and is light yet strong. I love it!

My first Frahm purchase, you certainly get what you pay for. Happy to say the quality justifies the price. I’m a 38” chest so went for the small, usually have issues with long sleeves but not with this jacket. I also like that it’s de-badged with just the one red cuff button as a clue. As others have mentioned customer service is also excellent.

Its a beautiful thing!

Well made, luxurious material, lovely colour (everyone says so) - but is it a jacket or an overshirt? Now its colder, I've taken to wearing mine as a mid-layer. When its milder, it was great as a lightweight jacket. Either way, its a beautiful thing...
