Lumberjack Flannel Workshirt

Size Guide
Size & Fit Guide

Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

measurement guide

Next, compare your measurements with our size chart below to see which Frahm jacket is right for you. Our jumpers are also sized in the same way.

size chart

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves altered for you when possible (most of the time it is). Please Live Chat or email us to discuss.

A contemporary take on the classic lumberjack shirt with bold, amped up colours and print. Designed in soft cotton flannel to give a warm, plush feel.

A rock solid, throw-on overshirt that makes a great mid-layer.

Colour
Beacon Orange and Black
Intense Blue and Black

A contemporary take on the lumberjack shirt, I wanted to use a bolder print & colours. The big horn buttons match the chunkiness of the whole design. Beard & axe suggested, but not essential.

An amped up version of it's brother, the hugely popular Lightweight Tartan Workshirt, it is a couple of rungs thicker & warmer.

The blues.

So happy with the orange that I got the blue too. Now, it’s “Just jackets” but these shirts were deservedly Frahm. View the final few available if you can.
I’m sorry to see the shirts go, but look forward to more great jackets from a happy rather than frazzled Frahm team.

Ticks All The Boxes

I'm a big fan of a well made, top quality fabric shirt, made with care and attention to detail. The Lumberjack Flannel Workshirt from FRAHM ticks all those boxes and then some. Great fit, great feel and will be a regular on my back for a long time in the chilly weather -- I will now invest in another purchase from Frahm!

I got the blues (in a good way)

My blue lumberjack arrived and is lush. Love the blue - not too bright or too dark and just right. I’ve now collected the set of the lumberjacks for posterity - shame they won’t be made anymore but looking forward to more jacket adventures with Frahm.

Lush

The white version of the lumberjack as modelled by Shaun Keaveney arrived and is top notch - now feel like I’m in Shaun’s gang.

If Carlsberg made shirts...

The amount of thought put into this shirt is quite incredible. From the pockets on the inside to the hand pockets on the outside and even the little space for a pen on the top chest pocket, it's just perfection. Also the cut is tailored while allowing movement easily. Material is soft and just the right thickness. There's also a little tag on the inside recommending how to wash and iron to keep the fabric stretchy and soft. This is exactly how i would design a shirt if i ever were to. Get this bargain while there's some left if you're able to, you won't regret it! Thanks to Nick and the rest of the Frahm team, i hope you make the odd shirt again in the future! Counting down the days now to get my field jacket.... 236.... (about..) currently.
