I've been researching (or perhaps procrastinating) FRAHM jackets for some time & in particular the Thermal Military Parker. To my amazement when browsing their site I found the jacket I wanted (including the colour & size) in stock in their archives! I used the chat function on their website to check that XL was right for me...the lady on the chat was available immediately, super helpful & warned me to not hang around if I wanted it. I ordered around 4pm in the afternoon & it came the NEXT DAY..just as we were starting that cold snap. It is brilliant. I wear it on my dog walks & first outing was with a brisk sea breeze from the north making it feel like -6 degrees C..brrrr. The jacket is designed for that sort of weather & I was snug, warm & comfortable. A side benefit of the lovely fireman's clasps is that they are perfect for clipping the dog lead to...genuis. I posted a photo of me in my new FRAHM parka on Facebook & was inundated with likes & comments from friends & family - one even asked me if I was sponsored by FRAHM because I was so gushing about it! I do need to send it back to get the arm lengths shortened but after the weather has improved & I don't need it. Now I need to find an all year round, slightly lighter weight jacket to buy. These FRAHM's are pricey but the quality & capability of the jacket is more than worth the investment.
I watched, I waited , then waited some more. Could I justify spending so much on a coat ? Having bought the Lightweight Worker jacket back in 2021 and loved it ,I was already hooked on Frahm quality and fit and the Parka had been on my radar since that first purchase.
When the opportunity came to buy in the Archive sale, I bit the bullet and bought a green Parka.
What a great quality warm coat that fits perfectly. Yes, it is three times a much as I would normally pay for a coat , but the quality and fit means that this will be
on my back for many years to come. Another very happy customer, keep up the good work guys and girls.
Was delivered late November last year just in time for the cold snap and was most welcome. Fits a treat, like all Frahm’s jackets, and looks sharp. Beautifully made. Came back into its own this chilly January. Beautiful.
