I already have a field jacket that I love and ordered the parka for colder winter days - I spend a lot of time photographing wildlife and an insulated waterproof jacket is a must. I've had the parka for a couple of months now and I'm impressed. The fit is good (I ordered an XL which is a size larger than I would normally) and allows a sweater underneath. Lots of pockets for spare batteries and even a small lens. The jacket is warm and waterproof with a well fitting hood. The attention to detail is excellent and I particularly appreciate the side zips that can be undone to allow easier movement but done up again to reduce draughts. The fabric is tough and copes well with contact with branches and thorns. All in all an excellent winter coat.
After waiting for what seemed like an eternity after placing my pre order my jacket finally arrived. I had such high expectations and I was still blown away by the jacket. It’s quality is second to none and looks very stylish.
The biggest disappointment I have is that the British weather hasn’t been bad enough to need to wear my jacket every day.
If you are thinking about buying a jacket from Frahm then I would recommend that you do so immediately you will not be disappointed
I first saw Frahm on Instagram over a year ago and laughed at the thought of waiting nearly a year for delivery, then I saw the blue and yellow colour scheme and very soon found myself waiting for nearly a year. I have read other people write this but it is honestly the best coat I have ever owned, I love it, the fit, how warm it is and it just looks so good. My partner tried to throw the box out but that is also a thing of beauty and thought. My only issue is that I now want the camo version as well......
At first I was sceptical as I saw these advertised on Facebook, however I took the plunge and ordered my coat. After 7 months it arrived, in no way was or am I disappointed. This parka is warm / rugged / tough / individual and gets loads of positive comments. It was my first FRAHM but will not be my last.
Can't recommend enough.
Well done for creating such a great product.
Great fit and look but haven't managed to test it in really cold weather yet but definitely kept me dry in the rain. Fairplay to the team at Frahm as ordered a pre order 2022 jacket by accident, they were willing to refund straight away but recommended waiting to see if my size/colour was returned which it was. Really impressed with the quality of the material my only negative is that it does mark quite easily but other than that really happy with the coat.
