Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.
FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.
Size by measurements, not that you are a 'Large' or 'XL' in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.
If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is. We are experienced fitters.
"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit. Our arm lengths are longer than most.
If you have short arms, we will happily have your sleeves altered for you when possible (most of the time it is). Please Live Chat or email us to discuss.
If you have any questions please do Live Chat or email us on hello@frahmjacket.com

Nick's Design Notes: Lumberjacket jackets don't really live up to their name. They're usually made with soft, very tearable fabric that will ruin quickly. I wanted to make a really tough cool weather jacket that you could scrape against a ragged broke branch without any effect, that was smart without being showy.
Based on the hugely popular Lightweight Worker’s Jacket, this is a heavier weight worker’s coat to combat cool and mixed British conditions and gloaming pine forests. You could call it a trucker jacket too.
The outer fabric is a heavier weight washable waxed fabric than our Field and Harrington jackets - from British Millerain in Yorkshire, of course. No need to reproof even after years of machine washes.
The lining is a gorgeous brushed, soft, red and navy blue check cotton. We’ve added Italian stainless steel snap closures to the front cargo pockets and our super tough brushed horn buttons.
There are pockets galore, with two main lower cargo pockets, with hand pockets behind (it drives its nuts not to have anywhere to put hands). Add in one buttoned chest pocket, with a YKK hardened stainless steel zipped chest pocket opposite it. Then inside we have a two inside pockets - one for a paperback book and another for your pen knife and mints.
As with it’s 5 star reviewed sisters the Lightweight, we have paid particular attention to the buttons. These are real horn, brushed for a wonderful hand feel. The thread is triple woven through to a smaller holding button to the rear, with the thread then bound around the button at it’s centre to create an extremely tough and long lasting natural fixing. These buttons will not be falling off.
There button cuffs with two widths to select and a stiff casual collar that can be turned up if desired. As ever we use heavy duty twin needle stitching to add longevity. The embroidered brand label on the right shoulder is pure black and can be removed if desired.
This is a jacket that will wear it’s life as it ages - whether chopping logs in a remote forest or animating talking squirrels in a city studio. Beard not compulsory.
Weather range, with t-shirt from 6c to 18c, or down to 0c with heavy layer(s) - ideal for cold, windy through to mild days in changeable weather and showers.
Technical Notes:
£10 from each jacket sold will be donated to Mind mental health charity.
Recently took receipt of my Navy Woodland Jacket in an XXL. I have admired Frahm Jackets for a couple of years now and I contacted Nick last year to discuss the City Coat. At that time Nick only had sizes up to an XL and having discussed my ‘chunkiness’ Nick advised on waiting for the XXL to arrive. Brilliant customer service, responsive, friendly, funny and advising me not to make a purchase that might not be right for me. Not sure you can ask for more than that. I pre-ordered the Woodland Jacket - again with Nick’s help on sizing and when it arrived the quality stood out - I love it. It will not be my last Frahm Jacket and Nick and Emmalou - thank you for answering all of my questions! Stay well!
I’m usually a utility dresser, buying clothes that are practical as opposed to stylish (unless its cycling kit, where I first came across Nick’s design skills - that kit is still going strong!). However, I received my first ever clothing compliment from my effortlessly stylish Italian friend, Sergio, on the first wearing of the Woodland Workers Jacket. It just feels ‘right’ when its on. Had to size down from the XXL to an XL, which they luckily had one in. Pockets in all the right places (love that the hands just fall into place in them). Its warm without feeling weighty - definitely need a warm layer beneath when the temperature drops, though. The rain just beads off, showers are handled with aplomb. Nice one Nick.
Ordered wrong size but replaced immediately. Superb quality and fit and nice layered up. Trying to talk Santa into getting me that rather snazzy Parka... Highly recommended, good to deal with and it’s supporting a British business...5/5
When I opened the box it confirmed that this was a special jacket… the care and attention to detail from the off is there to be seen.
The Woodland Worker Jacket is a thing of beauty, the fit is perfect although I wanted to wait until I had worn it a while before giving feedback (sorry Nick). It was a little stiff with newness when I first tried it on and I wanted to feel the jacket once it was bedded in. After a few wears she is softening and will become a go to jacket come rain or shine… and I can see the future: a jacket that will be like an old friend, sharing experiences while looking after me. What’s not to want about that!
Thanks Nick for a great product and I hope it won’t be my last FRAHM jacket…
Cheers Guy
