Size & Fit Guide

Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

measurement guide

Next, compare your measurements with our size chart below to see which Frahm jacket is right for you. Our jumpers are also sized in the same way.

size chart

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves altered for you when possible (most of the time it is). Please Live Chat or email us to discuss.

Nick's Design Notes

I like a cap, but only if it is very (very) comfortable. So we made this in, perhaps not by coincidence, in Yorkshire, home of the flat cap. Everything is upgraded. Enjoy.

Some classics can't be messed with. For us, it is very FRAHM to upgrade, tweak and make 'just so'. This is what we've done here with our Yorkshire Tweed Cap.

From the soft Scottish tweed, to the merino wool blend lining, right down to the plain-English care instructions, sewn in for comfort.

It isn't cheap, but quality costs. Quality lasts and the detailing we've specced means you'll enjoy it for years.

We even managed not to mention any Yorkshire stereotypes. Well done us.

Tweed flat cap

This is a great hat. Shape, fit and wool material all superb, colour is also as good as the website suggests. It feels really well made with great stitching. Time will tell if it lasts as I have only had it 1 month but so far it is my go-to mid winter head cover as it goes with both smart and casual gear. Very happy indeed.

Spot on!

After taking some advice I ordered a Medium, it fits like a glove ~ so to speak!
Arrived just in time for the cold weather we've had and it looks great and more importantly it's very cosy.
As usual with Frahm there's great attention to detail and finish.

Great quality product

It’s the first cap I have bought and is of the highest quality. The way it’s made helps it fit really well and offers great warmth in the autumn months.
