*There's a story behind this name. See below.

    VENTILE THERMAL FIELD JACKET 2025

Navy Blue / Camel Brown / Fireman Red

The Ventile sits at the top of our range. A deep Winter jacket, at home with freezing Chicago business travel, or bitterly cold dog walks in the Cairngorms.

    Upgrades for 2025:

    • Ventile fabric weight increased from 200gsm to 270.
    • Herringbone Cotton Cashmere lining, from pure cotton flannel.
    • Primaloft insulation upgraded from 140gsm Silver, to 170gsm Gold.
    • Key carabiner added at inside right book pocket.
    • Fully European production & sourcing.

The price has increased with these upgrades, but remains far better value than it's nearest, more expensive competitors, which lack the toughness, sizing, pockets, lining & hood detail that sets FRAHM apart.

    WAXED ODYSSEY JACKET 2025

Military Green / Black / Navy Blue

Our versatile travel & business jacket. It's the one I wear most for factory visits, photoshoots, etc. Always smart, without overstating it. Extremely tough, without shouting menace. Massive pockets. Very flattering, masculine shape. A blitz of subtle detail.

    Upgrades for 2025:

    • Herringbone Cotton Cashmere lining, from pure cotton flannel.
    • Key carabiner added at inside right book pocket.
    • Fully British & European production & sourcing.

The price has barely gone up, which is remarkable given the upgrades, let alone the huge materials & transport inflation all clothing businesses have seen recently.

    Short Story:

    Odyssey Into Over Thinking

The Waxed Odyssey Jacket is the new name for the Foreign Correspondent's Jacket - a name that went through about 12 different iterations in 2022, before my team begged me to make up my mind.

The team teased me about the rather tangential naming. We want you to understand the styles better, so this year, after some friendly debate, we all agreed Odyssey was a more romantic description of 'rugged travel'.

The Twist - We actually called it the Waxed Motorcycle Jacket for a day, but some very helpful customers rightly pointed out that means we have to get the armour independently rated and approved. Arrggh.

'Motorcycle' was a reference to it's 'trials' heritage, but I'm not about to miss-sell anything, so we re-thought. Always learning... *face palm*
