Pre-ordering allows us to focus on making the best quality jackets and keeps them special (we only make each style once a year). MORE INFO

We give you 20% off for pre-ordering. If there's any stock left, or rare returns, they are at full price.

If you're going to pay us in advance and wait, there should be a reward for that. You help us, we help you.

We will shorten your sleeves free of charge, as long as it's a minimum of 3cm shorter. Please get your jacket, see how it fits, then decide.

Not all jackets can have alterations, as this may ruin the construction. No waterproofs can, for instance, as this stops them being waterproof!

There's an icon on each jacket, saying if they can have the sleeves shortened, but do ask if unclear.

If you live outside of the UK, we'd be happy to cover the cost of you getting your sleeves shortened locally, just get in contact with our customer service team.

Please note we don’t offer repair or alteration services locally for Northern Ireland.

All alterations must be completed within our 90-day returns window. After this period, any tailoring costs will need to be covered by the customer.

We use the best British and European Union manufacturers available. Quality comes first.

Most of our fabric and trims are sourced in the UK, otherwise Italy, Switzerland and Portugal. The only non-European components are Japanese zip-pulls.

We make some styles in the UK. Mostly in the EU.

We're a British family business based in Bath, Somerset, but we always prioritise quality first, whether that factory is British, or EU.

Most of our materials are UK sourced. Suppliers like British Millerain of Rochdale, Halley Stevensons of Dundee, Abraham Moon of Yorkshire, or Courtneys of Gloucestershire.

We try to make as many of our jackets machine washable as possible.

Don't ever use heat, biological liquid or conditioner with any jacket though

If there is a manufacturing fault with the jacket, we will get this repaired for you, or offer you a replacement jacket (if available). Most manufacturing faults are found within the first 2 - 3 months of wearing your jacket, however we will fix any that happen within the first year of wear.

Any issues after that will be your responsibility to repair. Please do get in contact with us if you have a question about how to repair your jacket. We'd be happy to offer advice, or to recommend the tailor we use in Bath.
