We offer Free Standard Shipping on all orders over £200. Orders under £200 are charged at £10. Delivery is typically 2-5 working days & all orders are tracked.

Express Shipping typically takes 1-2 days if your order is placed before 4pm. This is £20.

If you have placed a pre-order for a jacket, you can cancel this at any time before delivery for a full refund.

Size changes are extremely rare when customers ask us on live chat and we talk you through your best size. Nick has personally trained every member of staff in sizing and fit. They know their onions (jackets).

Size or colour exchanges are easy during pre-order, so long as your size and colour choice is available. It is also often possible to exchange a garment after they arrive, but we can’t guarantee it as we may not have the stock.

If we can't exchange it for you, you can get a refund within 90 days of receiving your jacket.

We’ll cancel any order during the pre-order period, straight away. We’ll refund you for any reason within 90 days of you receiving it, as long as it’s unused, undamaged & unwashed (just tried on for size).

No, all our returns are logged via a system which makes processing a refund and restocking items as straight-forward as possible.

Certainly, but please ensure that the correct paperwork for each order is enclosed in your returns parcel. It would be really helpful if each order can be separated, so that it’s clear which items belong to which order. Each return will be processed separately.

Returns can take up to 14 days to be processed (don't worry, we haven't forgotten!)

When returning a parcel, please make sure you obtain and retain a tracking number from the Post Office.

If you miss out on preordering a jacket, you can register to hear about returns coming back into stock. Simply head to the product page then when you select the jacket and says 'sold out', just pop email into box that appears. We will then email you if on comes back. You will need to jump on this though as it's first come first serve!

All washing instructions are written in plain English and stitched into our jackets. Please check there if you are unsure.

As a rule of thumb, all jackets apart from the Merino Mechanics Jacket can be machine washed on a hand-wash or delicate cycle at 30 degrees.

Make sure you use a delicate detergent and do not use fabric conditioner. Don't worry if you have accidentally used fabric conditioner, simply rinse well.

To clean your Merino Mechanics Jacket please dry clean only.

We recommend washing your jacket to remove a buildup of sweat and dirt which can damage its performance.

Our garments are designed to be tough, but life happens and sometimes you may need a repair.

We offer free lifetime repairs on all fair, manufacturing faults on our jackets. This does not include general wear and tear, nor accidental damage (so go easy on that bear wrestling!)

If you do send your jacket to us for repair, please clean it before you send it back to us! We cannot send dirty jackets to a tailors to repair.

This typically takes 3-4 weeks once we have received your item.

For customers outside the UK, we will reimburse customers for repairs to be done locally, if we feel it's a fair fault.

The Big Questions

Pre-ordering allows us to create the jackets you want without waste. Not only is this far more sustainable, but it allows us to focus on making the best quality jackets and keeps them special (we only make each style once a year!)

In stock jackets are rare as we find they always sell out well in advance, so keep your eyes peeled! If there ever are any available they will be sold at full price.

If you buy your FRAHM before it arrives in our warehouse, it helps us in myriad ways. In return, we give you a 20% Earlybird discount. Most FRAHM Owners buy this way.

Anecdotally, check our history & reputation. Logic-wise, the very fact we work on a pre-order model makes us financially very stable - I designed the business that way! Legally, we have to refund you before you get the goods, if you want that. The real source of relaxation is that if you pay by credit (not debit) card or PayPal, your money is protected. There’s no time limit and you get it all back.

We can shorten the sleeves on most of our jacket styles (a minimum of 3cm) to make sure you get the best fit. Please get in touch with us via email or grab a member of staff on live chat (blue icon in the righthand corner of the screen) and we can arrange this for you.

Alterations typically take 3-4 weeks from receiving your item. Please make the request within 90 days of placing your order.

If you’re not already a Loyalty Scheme member, go to the little orange box on the bottom left of website, sign in and you’re off. It’s the only way to get money off FRAHM and you can refer friends for money off too.

All of our garments are made in either the UK, Europe or China. We select our suppliers based on quality and sustainability not on price. Almost all of our fabric and trim manufacturers are based in Europe with a few exceptions, such as our zip pulls from Japan. 

FRAHM is officially in aid of CALM, the suicide prevention charity. We have a page devoted to getting help and improving your mental health.

This is because founder, Nick suffered a nervous breakdown in 2017 that made him suicidal. Having recovered, but realising it's still a tabooo subject, he hopes that by being completely honest and direct about that, we can help others.
