Why pre-orders?

What’s with the 20% discount?

We give you 20% off for pre-ordering. If there's any stock left, or rare returns, they are at full price.

If you're going to pay us in advance and wait, there should be a reward for that. You help us, we help you.

What alterations do you do?

We will shorten your sleeves free of charge, as long as it's a minimum of 3cm shorter. Please get your jacket, see how it fits, then decide.

Not all jackets can have alterations, as this may ruin the construction. No waterproofs can, for instance, as this stops them being waterproof!

There's an icon on each jacket, saying if they can have the sleeves shortened, but do ask if unclear.

If you live outside of the UK, we'd be happy to cover the cost of you getting your sleeves shortened locally, just get in contact with our customer service team.

Please note we don’t offer repair or alteration services locally for Northern Ireland.

All alterations must be completed within our 90-day returns window. After this period, any tailoring costs will need to be covered by the customer.

Where are your garments made?

We use the best British and European Union manufacturers available. Quality comes first.

Most of our fabric and trims are sourced in the UK, otherwise Italy, Switzerland and Portugal. The only non-European components are Japanese zip-pulls.

do you manufacture in Britain?

We make some styles in the UK. Mostly in the EU.

We're a British family business based in Bath, Somerset, but we always prioritise quality first, whether that factory is British, or EU.

Most of our materials are UK sourced. Suppliers like British Millerain of Rochdale, Halley Stevensons of Dundee, Abraham Moon of Yorkshire, or Courtneys of Gloucestershire.

How do I care for my jacket?

There's care info embroidered in plain English, into each jacket.

We try to make as many of our jackets machine washable as possible.

Don't ever use heat, biological liquid or conditioner with any jacket though

Do you offer a warranty?

If there is a manufacturing fault with the jacket, we will get this repaired for you, or offer you a replacement jacket (if available). Most manufacturing faults are found within the first 2 - 3 months of wearing your jacket, however we will fix any that happen within the first year of wear.

Any issues after that will be your responsibility to repair. Please do get in contact with us if you have a question about how to repair your jacket. We'd be happy to offer advice, or to recommend the tailor we use in Bath.

Delivery & Returns

When will I get my jacket?

There's a coloured information box next to the 'pre-order now' button on each jacket page. That tells you when yours is arriving, or just ask us if you're not sure.

If the jacket is in stock, we'll send it to you within a few days, often quicker.

If you have ordered on pre-order, you can login to your account & the date your jacket will be sent will be against your order.

Can I cancel or return my order?

Yes, absolutely any time during the pre-order period, no explanation required, before it arrives.

You can return a jacket for exchange or refund within 90 days of its arrival, as long as it's unused, with the tags still on. We can't sell used, dirty or washed garments.

Please note that we do not accept more than two exchanges per order.

What if I get the wrong size?

No problem, just exchange it, though sometimes we have run out.

Better still, ask us! We very rarely get a size wrong, if you check with us first.

Not sure of your size? Find your best fitting jacket, and simply tell us the brand and size. We'll do the rest.

I live in Europe, do I need to pay duties on arrival?

We send all of our orders to Europe using a service called DDP, which means duties, delivered paid. Therefore the final price you see on the checkout is the price you will pay, no duties or customs charges will be due on your order arriving into the country.

I live in the US & Canada, Do I need to pay duties on arrival?

Now that duties are due on all orders in the US, all orders will have an additional duties charge which you will see calculated at checkout.

We use a dynamic service that calculates the duties due based on the price of the product.

I don't live in Europe, the US, or Canada, do I need to pay duties on arrival?

We don't accept bank transfers, cheques, deposits or cash. Just payments via our website.

Waxed tan jacket

This is the third Frahm
Jacket I’ve bought - one having been stolen as it was clearly so desirable! This was in an end of year stock clearing sale so great value and no advance order wait 👍🏼
The jacket is a great fit and as ever really high quality. Lots of pockets, chunky zips and fastenings, great colour, comfortable and hard wearing. Can’t ask for more !

Top Quality

As with all Frahm jackets, this one is superb. Properly made with proper materials and wow, it's warm. I'm 6'4 and the XL is a perfect fit. Yes, if you're planning on wearing very thick jumpers underneath it, then maybe get advice from the team at Frahm about going a size up, but the fit for me is perfect. A proper Peacoat and I've owned a few so can vouch for the difference in quality first hand.

Ventile Thermal Field Jacket 2025 Fireman Red

This is my 6th Frahm Jacket, it’s very hard to say which is my favourite. I purchased a Ventile Thermal Field Jacket 2025 Fireman Red, Large. The quality and feel about this jacket is unbelievable.

I do have three very minor points to make. The delivery packaging is’t as good as it used to be, not sure if this is because it was purchased through archive. My second point is the sleeves are a little long and Fraham were unable to help on this occasion. Finally, a two way zip would have been more useful. My thermal military jacket has this and it’s great, very useful.

I love this brand and will continue to purchase more jackets and support this great brand. The customer services team were first class in dealing with my questions.

An extravagance?

It’s not cheap but it’s not ridiculously expensive, it’s tough but classy, it’s refined yet simple. I bought the Wingback colab pen (fantastic btw) then the wingback fountain pen and mechanical pencil so needed a holder for all 3. Oh look that will do the job perfect another wingback purchase then the notebook looked neglected so this was an obvious purchase to complete the set. (My Vulpine Harrington is still going strong so skipped the jacket). The notebook cover is simple but does the job and will age nicely. We need to keep making notes, diary and journal and put the phone down. These make that a beautiful experience.

Very very happy with the odyssey jacket. It looks great, and its very practical with all pockets. Now its my daily jacket for winter, in south spain, work and travel. Well made, quality materials, and very comfortable
