I love cooking. I do not love making Christmas roast. Tried it. Stressed myself and everyone else out. Over-reached. Shouted. Regretted. Oops. Pravin isn't a FRAHM model, he's a chef. He owns Castle Farm Midford, a 10 minute walk from my house. It isn't hyperbole to say it's my family's favourite place to eat. We love their DIY corrugated iron shack home. No pretence, just love for what they do, food, and their customers. Their roast dinners have a months long waiting list. They are MAD. I post occasional images of the piles of incredible meats and vegetables on our Instagram. I’ve known Prav for seven years. He started modelling in 2019 - our Lightweight Workers Jacket, which he again wears in this film. Prav is a very calm, easy going but passionate. Here he shows the simplest, clearest, tastiest way to roast and enjoy your day. It was a real pleasure to film him in his environment. We invited the whole FRAHM team over, including my friends and my kids. Wonderful. Enjoy this. I was grinning throughout. I did my roasties his way on Sunday. It worked. Next week from Prav - The Alternative Christmas Dinner. Prav creates a spicy roast inspired by his Asian heritage. This is great fun. Enjoy a LOT. Nick |
My first Frahm Jacket was a Waterproof Field Jacket, which I’ve now had for about 5 years. I use it practically ever day during Autumn & Winter as part of my daily commute. Still gets lots of compliments.
My new jacket is another step up - you can instantly see the quality. Simply brilliant - the attention to detail is amazing.
Well done to the Frahm Team - products that must make you truly proud.
Marvellous. Very pleased with Heavy Twill Deck Jacket.
Very warm and comforable. Only grippe, the internal pocket for a large book isn’t large enough to take my Manchester City programme when I’m at the games! So, it’s not large enough!!
Another strong design, this jacket feels tough and robust. The arms are slightly longer than other L jackets i own from frahm but as a 6ft tall, averagely built guy, overall jacket length is perfect. Only constructed feedback I’d give is that getting the collar to sit flat is hard work, it wants to flap up which is irritating. I’m hoping over time it can be trained to sit nicely.
Every new Frahm is greeted with the same refrain of 'this is my favourite jacket yet' and the Heavy Twill Deck Jacket is no exception to that rule. It's a fabulous bit of kit and is as smart as it is functionally brilliant. All with the same Frahm attention to detail, quality and outstanding fit. I'm 5ft 8in, slim build and always buy a small. The corduroy collar and cuffs are genius and the insulation gives the jacket an unexpected warmth without you noticing it's even there. The twill canvas exterior has a fabulous feel and of course you get all the pockets you come to expect from a Frahm.
Yep, it's a fabulous investment and although the Peacoat really is my favourite as it's really a coat I'm confident is saying this is for sure my favourite jacket.
Picked up a sample ventile thermal field jacket for an absolute song, just needed some restitching round the lining. £20 to a local seamstress had it good as new. Comfy, warm, cosseting, sharp, practical. Everything I’d hoped it would be. Utterly superb. Now looking forward to my Wingback Harrington!
My deck jacket in American tan did not disappoint quality and fit are superb I keep getting sidelong looks from my wife fortunately it’s much too big for her
