Introducing the Cashmere Field Jacket, the pinnacle of FRAHM.

 

It is by far the most luxurious and expensive jacket we've ever made. It has also taken the longest to complete, from ideation to launch.

 

It didn't start as a business proposal, but out of love. Or rather, lust.

 

We got hold of a fabric we were so taken with, we agreed it was too much fun not to make a sample. Then it snowballed. 

 

I revealed the first sample in September 2023 in this Instagram post. 

 

I then updated you again in March with an improved sample. I asked if you wanted us to make it. I had customers direct messaging me there and then, offering to buy that single sample.

 

One excellent longterm (hi!) customer offered me triple it's estimated worth. I politely refused. It cost that just to make the sample, and we needed to complete our R&D.

 

Here we are now, ready to show you the finished article. We are so inordinately proud of it. There has been a buzz amongst us for this design for a year now, as we knew it was coming.

LEGENDARY LORO PIANA FABRIC

This FRAHM is built from Loro Piana Green Storm System® pure cashmere. It has a waterproof membrane that adds to it's width of use in many weathers.

Lora Piana of Milan, Italy, create extraordinary ultra high-end fabrics at the pinnacle of our industry.

It is an honour even to be allowed to use their name, which is no given. We had to prove our worth. They protect their reputation by only working with the best, who's quality standards match their own.

UNIQUE MAZE PRINT PURE SILK LINING

Only one lining would do - pure silk, which, just like cashmere, is another beautiful yet tough natural performance fabric. 

Again like cashmere, it is naturally temperature regulating, water, stain & odour resistant. Plus, fast drying, breathable and of course supremely soft and comfortable. 

We worked with artists Rhythm Studio to create a screen-printed maze design, unique to FRAHM. Red highlights hint at it's military Patrol Jacket & No.1 Dress roots.
