UPGRADED CLASSIC: 1920'S AMERICAN LOGGER'S JACKET

Google 'lumber jacket'. It's not pretty. Lots of soft, Monty Pythonesque checks ready to tear into shreds within 3 miles of a tree.

Go back 100 years, and American loggers HAD to have jackets that could take a beating. They wore the same cloth we use (but wet-waxed, not dry like ours...they didn't have washing machines) from British Millerain.

As ever, we took a style created for absolute functionality, and improved it's form, without loosing it's unpretentious hard-working roots.

DRAG IT THROUGH BRAMBLES

British Millerain of Rochdale's heavyweight dry-waxed cotton really can be dragged through sharp stuff. That means a jacket actually built for woodland, where jagged things stick out.

ALWAYS SMART

The advantage of such an impervious, structured fabric, is this jacket stays the same shape. It doesn't crease. It doesn't need ironing. So if you're busy in business (or feeling a bit lazy), the Woodland will look as great, wherever you are.

MMM, POCKETS

Is it possible to have too many pockets? No it isn't. There's eight of these... Including the ubiquitous (only at FRAHM) proper hand pockets.

11 sizes, for all men

We tailor for men from 5'4" to 6'10" tall.

With chest sizes from 36" to 56".

That means eleven sizes & free sleeve alterations, unique in jacket brands.

Importantly, we take time to tailor exceptional fabrics that drape flatteringly, not suck around the bits you didn't want to accentuate.

We make you look manly, in a "I want to feel good, but not look like I'm trying too hard" way.

If you're not sure of your size, we can check your exact size easily. Everyone here has been helping men with sizing for years.

SERVICE BY FRAHM STAFF

No bots. No outsourcing. All of our beloved service staff have been with us for years, helping thousands of men.

CHANGE YOUR MIND?

No problem. No explanation needed. Pre-orders can be cancelled any time. You get 90 days once you've got your FRAHM.

WE DON'T STACK IT HIGH, OR SELL IT CHEAP

Nothing exceptional was ever easy.

Great jackets don't sit on dusty shelves with half price tickets on.

We choose to be slow & expensive, to carefully build an extraordinary reputation for doing what we promised we would.

Our singular concentration on long term reputation, not weekly sales targets, means you get a far better jacket.

WHY PRE-ORDER?

NO DISTRACTIONS

FRAHM is focussed on doing one thing really well - we upgrade classic men's jackets styles. That's it.

We make each design once a year. Each one is spread across the calendar. We're not distracted by the constant pressure to create new fashion ranges every six months.

After we've delivered that year's edition to our customers, we re-launch the next year's edition.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER?

The short answer is always as soon as you can.

We're booking production space and getting fabric made twelve months before they've even been made.

Options gradually run out as we tick down from 12 months ahead to the arrival date.

If you see gaps in the options of colour/size, etc, that's an alarm bell.

WHY DO I KEEP SEEING 20% OFF?

That 20% discount doesn't mean we're in a Sale. We don't do them. We don't overbuy.

That's the pre-order reward on FRAHM Jackets (but not on collaborations).

You help us, we help you. Fair.

If there's any stock left, or rare returns, they are at full price.

Wow this jacket is out this world !

This jacket is made superbly like the other 7/8 Frahm jackets I have acquired over the last year . The comments on this one though come thick and fast. I think I need help with my Frahm addiction !

The One and Only

My third Frahm but the one that started my obsession. Eyeing up Mr Packham’s own dazzle Woodland Worker’s Jacket on the telly had me on a quest to find out who made that jacket. And now finally Frahm decided to make it available once again! Well worth the wait, perfect fit and seriously well made, should last a life time.

My fifth Frahm jacket, which kinda says it all...

As soon as I saw pics of the Frahm Waxed Woodland Workers Jacket 2025 in Burgundy Red, I just knew I would have to order it — I didn’t even give it a second thought. In fact, I bought my 4th & 5th Frahms at the same time, such is my trust & faith in the brand that having delivered (over-delivered) with quality, fit, durability & style on the first 3, I had no reservations. At all. And no doubt I will add to my collection before too long. The colour of this is sublime — it’s what drew me in initially. It’s different, eye-catching, but still understated in the Frahm tradition. There is nothing not to like about this jacket, and oodles to like beyond the colour. The design, the craftsmanship, the materials — both the shell of the jacket & the lining, the robust quality of the zip, the buttons and those snappy things Nick always bangs on about. And their great customer service, not that I’ve needed to use it often, but when I have they’ve been super responsive & helpful. And this one dropped early, about a month earlier than I expected, which was a lovely surprise. Prior to finding Frahm I would buy Barbour & Belstaff, but having now found Frahm, their jackets are my go-to and rather sadly, the others don’t get a look in — when I say sadly, it’s not because I’m sad not to wear them but sad that I invested heavily in them but having now got used to wearing better I don’t want to go back to wearing “not quite good enough”. And I do quite like that I don’t see everyone wearing them — in fact, I’ve never knowingly bumped in to another Frahm wearer, but am sure that when I do, without needing to say anything, we’ll look at each other knowingly whilst trying not to be overly smug, and go about our business modestly as I believe Frahmsters do. Right, now to consider which design I should choose next….

Above & beyond!

I am more than delighted by my new, first, Frahm jacket. The fit is perfect, the materials are durable and comfortable, the craftpersonship is exemplary. I feel good wearing it, and (think) I look good in it too. It also arrived a little sooner than expected.
It has totally exceeded all of my expectations! Thank you so very much.
I’m sorry for my tardiness in reviewing, but the weather has been unusually clement recently, postponing extended wearing opportunities.

My first Frahm and I’m very impressed with the jacket, which is robust and stylish, and the service, which was great.

Well worth waiting

More than lived up to expectations
Very high quality all round
Zips and buttons all sturdy
Would be worth thinking about a main central zip as an option in addition to the buttons
Good value
