UPGRADED CLASSIC: 1950S HARRINGTON JACKET

A hall of fame men’s jacket style, the casual Harrington Jacket was originally created as a golfing coat in the UK. It became adopted by American film idols like James Dean, Elvis & Steve McQueen, before making a return into UK counter culture as a punk & mod classic.

However, the original design remains rooted in the mid 20th century, with shapeless cotton, fiddly buttons and hand pocket flaps that curl.

We took the simple Harrington concept and made it tougher, with finer detailing, using it’s motorsport associations to make it more streamlined.

The fit is more masculine and flattering, with armoured shoulders, hip adjusters and steel trim.

FLATTERING DRY WAXED FABRIC

British Millerain of Rochdale provide the dry-waxed cotton exterior, which can be machine washed. It is far less prone to snagging, and won't sag, for am angular, more structured shape.

STAINLESS STEEL TRIM

We opt for YKK's highest grade zips, custom laser cut in hardened gunmetal stainless steel.

The Cobrax B:Lock snaps are the best in the world, used by special forces for their absolute reliability.

MOLESKIN & FLANNEL COMFORT

All this toughness is balanced by beautifully soft pure cotton moleskin inside the high funnel-neck collar, scalloped cuffs and hand pockets.

If you choose your Harrington Racer to be lined, we use finely brushed pure cotton flannel in our signature red & blue tartan, plus two additional inner pockets.

We tailor for men from 5'4" to 6'10" tall.

With chest sizes from 36" to 56".

That means eleven sizes & free sleeve alterations, unique in jacket brands.

Importantly, we take time to tailor exceptional fabrics that drape flatteringly, not suck around the bits you didn't want to accentuate.

We make you look manly, in a "I want to feel good, but not look like I'm trying too hard" way.

If you're not sure of your size, we can check your exact size easily. Everyone here has been helping men with sizing for years.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER?

The short answer is always as soon as you can.

We're booking production space and getting fabric made twelve months before they've even been made.

Options gradually run out as we tick down from 12 months ahead to the arrival date.

If you see gaps in the options of colour/size, etc, that's an alarm bell.

Fantastic jacket

I’ve been wearing my Harrington for just over a month now and I can’t fault it . I got mine lined and it’s kept me warm and comfortable. It really is a good as I’d hoped it would be .

Better than expected!

Having previously bought an unlined version of the Harrington I took the plunge with a lined version. It costs a little more but the detailing, extra pockets, the feel and warmth all make it very worthwhile. Very pleased to now be the owner of 2 Harringtons which I strongly recommend. Thanks Frahm

Just what i was looking for

Hi i have had my Harrington for a few weeks and can say i’m very please it looks good , well made and a great fit. i would have like an internal pocket but understand the unlined version doesnt come with that . will be looking to see what next to order up.
