CARE

UPGRADED CLASSIC: INDUSTRIAL REVOLUTION FRENCH WORKER'S JACKET

Post revolution France saw factory worker’s wearing their new found status with pride. Their work or chore jackets, were built sturdy and simple, for unpretentious practicality.

Modern day chore coats, popularised by creatives like photographer Bill Cunningham, have more artistic connotations now, with open cargo pockets to carry tools / paint brushes.

However, they tend to be heavy, rounded and baggy. We’ve given the design clean lines and finer detailing, whilst retaining it’s highly practical, casual appeal.

LIGHT, DRY-WAXED COTTON

The Waxed Workers has a hardier, more British 'BBQ' vibe than our Original Workers, which uses a softer, less tough Italian fabric.

The light dry-waxed Halley Stephensons fabric is designed to be creased, for a more casual yet smart-enough look, and a bit of shower resistance.

TRIPLE WOUND BUTTONS

Made with corozo nut buttons from Courtneys of Gloucestershire.

They're triple wound onto backing buttons and bonded, so they just won't come off.

hand pockets

We remain aghast that all jackets don't come with hand pockets, as does every FRAHM.

You need a way to rest those massive biceps, or to lean nonchalantly against your neighbour's gazebo, listening to 2 tone , beer in hand...

11 sizes, for all men

We tailor for men from 5'4" to 6'10" tall.

With chest sizes from 36" to 56".

That means eleven sizes & free sleeve alterations, unique in jacket brands.

Importantly, we take time to tailor exceptional fabrics that drape flatteringly, not suck around the bits you didn't want to accentuate.

We make you look manly, in a "I want to feel good, but not look like I'm trying too hard" way.

If you're not sure of your size, we can check your exact size easily. Everyone here has been helping men with sizing for years.

SERVICE BY FRAHM STAFF

No bots. No outsourcing. All of our beloved service staff have been with us for years, helping thousands of men.

CHANGE YOUR MIND?

No problem. No explanation needed. Pre-orders can be cancelled any time. You get 90 days once you've got your FRAHM.

WE DON'T STACK IT HIGH, OR SELL IT CHEAP

Nothing exceptional was ever easy.

Great jackets don't sit on dusty shelves with half price tickets on.

We choose to be slow & expensive, to carefully build an extraordinary reputation for doing what we promised we would.

Our singular concentration on long term reputation, not weekly sales targets, means you get a far better jacket.

WHY PRE-ORDER?

NO DISTRACTIONS

FRAHM is focussed on doing one thing really well - we upgrade classic men's jackets styles. That's it.

We make each design once a year. Each one is spread across the calendar. We're not distracted by the constant pressure to create new fashion ranges every six months.

After we've delivered that year's edition to our customers, we re-launch the next year's edition.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER?

The short answer is always as soon as you can.

We're booking production space and getting fabric made twelve months before they've even been made.

Options gradually run out as we tick down from 12 months ahead to the arrival date.

If you see gaps in the options of colour/size, etc, that's an alarm bell.

WHY IS EVERYTHING 20% OFF?

That 20% discount doesn't mean we're in a Sale. We don't do them. We don't overbuy! That's your pre-order reward.

You help us, we help you. Fair.

If there's any stock left, or rare returns, they are at full price.

Excellent jacket, a lot of compliments from other people.

Great lightweight jacket

Perfect jacket for the Spring/Summer season. Lightweight and a perfect fit; definitely worth the wait. This was my first FRAHM purchase and won’t be my last.

Does the motorcycling thing brilliantly

As a motorcyclist going for a couple of nights bimble away, limited space makes for limited options. I can stuff this shirt/jacket into my panniers and have a brilliant alternative to wear down the pub instead of my twelve ton motorbike leather and body armour.

Another great jacket

Perfect fit, great colour and the usual Frahm (top) quality materials and manufacture. Worth the wait!

Completely ace, and then some

I own an original lightweight workers jacket, which I love, and gets used heavily for barrelling around the Badlands of Balham, and travel related jollity, so I knew the style, quality and fit would be on point.

This is another banger of a jacket, the patina and the tougher material gives the jacket a dead good aesthetic that I have already tested on a weekend in the wilds of North Yorkshire.

Anyway, stop reading this and just go and order one.
