UPGRADED CLASSIC: 1920'S AMERICAN LOGGER'S JACKET

Google 'lumber jacket'. It's not pretty. Lots of soft, Monty Pythonesque checks ready to tear into shreds within 3 miles of a tree.

Go back 100 years, and American loggers HAD to have jackets that could take a beating. They wore the same cloth we use (but wet-waxed, not dry like ours...they didn't have washine machines) from British Millerain.

As ever, we took a style created for absolute functionality, and improved it's form, without loosing it's unpretentious hard-working roots.

DRAG IT THROUGH BRAMBLES

British Millerain of Rochdale's heavyweight dry-waxed cotton really can be dragged through sharp stuff. That means a jacket actually built for woodland, where jagged things stick out.

ALWAYS SMART

The advantage of such an impervious, structured fabric, is this jacket stays the same shape. It doesn't crease. It doesn't need ironing. So if you're busy in business (or feeling a bit lazy), the Woodland will look as great, wherever you are.

11 sizes, for all men

We tailor for men from 5'4" to 6'10" tall.

With chest sizes from 36" to 56".

That means eleven sizes & free sleeve alterations, unique in jacket brands.

Importantly, we take time to tailor exceptional fabrics that drape flatteringly, not suck around the bits you didn't want to accentuate.

We make you look manly, in a "I want to feel good, but not look like I'm trying too hard" way.

If you're not sure of your size, we can check your exact size easily. Everyone here has been helping men with sizing for years.

WE DON'T STACK IT HIGH, OR SELL IT CHEAP

Nothing exceptional was ever easy.

Great jackets don't sit on dusty shelves with half price tickets on.

We choose to be slow & expensive, to carefully build an extraordinary reputation for doing what we promised we would.

Our singular concentration on long term reputation, not weekly sales targets, means you get a far better jacket.

WHY PRE-ORDER?

NO DISTRACTIONS

FRAHM is focussed on doing one thing really well - we upgrade classic men's jackets styles. That's it.

We make each design once a year. Each one is spread across the calendar. We're not distracted by the constant pressure to create new fashion ranges every six months.

After we've delivered that year's edition to our customers, we re-launch the next year's edition.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER?

The short answer is always as soon as you can.

We're booking production space and getting fabric made twelve months before they've even been made.

Options gradually run out as we tick down from 12 months ahead to the arrival date.

If you see gaps in the options of colour/size, etc, that's an alarm bell.

WHY IS EVERYTHING 20% OFF?

That 20% discount doesn't mean we're in a Sale. We don't do them. We don't overbuy! That's your pre-order reward.

You help us, we help you. Fair.

If there's any stock left, or rare returns, they are at full price.

1 word. Incredible

My first ever Tan jacket!

I really liked the look of this jacket in the Tan colour but hesitated before ordering. Some tan jackets come in strange shades (and I can’t be the only one that has a fear of looking like Tony Curtis in the Persuaders!). However, the jacket arrived and the colour is fabulous. Coupled with real horn buttons and FRAHM’s signature tartan lining, this jacket is another superb addition to my rapidly increasing FRAHM collection (I need to stop!). Well tailored, fabulous materials what more can I say, just another quality jacket that will last a lifetime.

Arrived in time for my travels….

….and made them all the better for it. Plenty of pockets, including a nice secure buttoned one inside for my passport. Pockets too for maps, a camera, a spare lens & sunglasses. At this rate I won’t need a bag for my next trip.

Lovely material, a degree of shower proofing & a nice lining. Good poppers as well.

I lived in this jacket when I was away & since I’ve got back. Perfect combination of casual, while looking smart (sorry, can’t bring myself to say ‘smart casual’).

Exemplary jacket

I've been lusting after this coat all year and eventually saved enough for the treat. Well worth the wait and know I have a bombproof timeless coat for all occasions. Aside from the beautiful material, finish and fit was the service and packaging. Wish all brands would be this attentive to the full customer package

Outstanding

Outstanding quality, fit, and, customer service. I know understand what all the fuss is about with FRAHM and why they’ve got loyal customers who evangelise about their coats and jackets.

This is the jacket I didn’t know I needed

I went for this jacket as I needed a ‘shoulder season’ jacket to take me through autumn - but this is a jacket I’m already loving and layering with other things to take me into cooler weather (despite also owning a a Frahm field jacket, which I thought would be my ‘main’ jacket) - but this is a thing of beauty. Gushing? Perhaps, but it’s that good.
