Nick's No BS Review of FRAHM Jacket's 2022
What has it actually been like to run FRAHM through such a difficult year? And how come, despite, or because of, how hard it's been, we've grown?
Winter has always been tricky for me when it comes to coats. Either they’re practical but make me feel like I’m wearing a tent, or they look great but can’t handle real weather. I’ve wasted more money than I’d like to admit on jackets that fell apart or just didn’t feel right after a season.
Then I came across FRAHM. I’ll be honest—I was skeptical at first. I saw their ads and thought, “This sounds too good to be true.” But something about their attention to detail and the fact they offered sleeve alterations (short arms are the bane of my jacket-buying life) kept me coming back to their site.
My first buy was the Woodland Worker Jacket, and it instantly became my go-to for business meetings. It’s smart but not stuffy—stylish but still practical. It just works.
This year, I finally added the Thermal Military Parka, and wow—I don’t think I’ve ever loved a coat more. It’s warm, waterproof, and ridiculously well-made. Every little detail, from the stitching to the zips, feels like it’s been thought through properly. It’s rare to find something that looks this good and actually works for everyday life, whether it’s pouring rain or freezing cold.
What really blows me away is how many people compliment it. I’ve had strangers stop me in the street to ask where it’s from. And unlike most brands, FRAHM isn’t churning these out for every high street shop, so you know you’re not going to see 10 other people wearing the same thing.
If you’re on the fence, just go for it. I was, too, but now I don’t think I’ll ever buy a coat from anywhere else. FRAHM has nailed it—quality, style, and durability in one.
After seeing, reading and listening to so much about Nick and his Frahm brand I nervously committed to ordering one his Ripstop puffer jackets back in October. It was delivered this week. What can I say. It's truly stunning. Immaculately made with attention to detail everywhere, a proper grown up puffer jacket that fits perfectly and is so easy to wear. It's not shouty, it's not shinny just a damn fine piece of cold weather wear that not only keeps you warm but gives a glow of satisfaction knowing you're wearing something really special. From my initial apprehension I'm now a convert and paid up member of the Frahm family. Thank you Nick for what you do, the clothes you make and your whole business ethos.

Absolutely love this gilet, great fit, long nought in the body to fit down to my hips, warm, excellent build quality and finish, to be honest I have never owned such a great quality, individual looking garment. Would look great in the office or at the pub or layered with a jacket, plan to wear on cold days under my Frahm woodland workers jacket. Thank you Frahm...will definitely be back.
Recently received my 1st jacket from Frahm the original utility field jacket (lined). Great look and feel and you can see the attention to detail that's been put into this jacket. Excellent fit and I'm sure this will keep me warm on my Christmas trip to Aviemore. What better place to test the jacket out. Can't wait for the racer harrington to arrive in 2025.
