DESIGNED FOR

This was Nick's (founder of FRAHM) first ever FRAHM jacket design. Built as our best all-rounder.

He wanted to make a smart, tough, any-weather jacket with maximum versatility for the real lives of busy men. The jacket you always grab: from coffee shop meetings, to countryside dog walks.

It has become so popular, we now make multiple versions, and for 2024, we now offer insulated and uninsulated. Proud.

DETAILS

Designed for use in the widest breadth of changeable British weather. Wind and shower proof, whilst being very breathable. Uninsulated jacket recommended at 10°C - 20°C. Insulated jacket, 4°C- 14°C, with greater rain protection due to the hydrophobic Primaloft layer.

Designed as a 'grab and go' smart but rugged all-purpose (hence 'utility') jacket for maximum year-round use.

We’ve modernised a classic style, ensuring it's comfortable for active everyday movement, breathable, odourless, washable, and with loads of storage for versatility and minimal fuss.

As with all FRAHM designs, the detailing is obsessive, quietly saying 'quality investment', not shouting 'fashion' or 'moneybags'. Just beautiful tweaks that add to a far greater whole.

This is a jacket to use and move in, not tip-toe around in. The shoulders and arms have space and articulation built in, and the arms are longer, for real-world movement (which can be shortened for free, if you like!).

The jacket is constructed from machine washable dry-waxed fabric from British Millerain, that will gradually develop a worn look, but without the oily inconvenience of reproofing old-school sticky waxed cotton.

For 2024, by huge demand, we have added the option to upgrade your Original Utility Field with quilted Primaloft insulation to give warmth in colder periods with a very low increase in overall volume.

Smart, understated luxury, comfort, bonkers detailing, longevity and huge practicality. Very FRAHM indeed.

Really Smart Jacket!

Apart from the quality of materials and tailoring of this classic FRAHM jacket, what I really love is the fit! The attention to sizing produces a jacket that looks like it has been made to measure! The quality of materials is superb from the dry waxed canvas to the cosy lining and the zips and snaps (I find my self opening and closing the snaps just to hear and feel the quality, sad I know). All in all summed up by my wife as a jacket that looks far too smart for field wear!

waited a couple of week to write the review to give me a chance to put the jacket through my hectic lifestyle, which to be honest isn't that hectic,
So good jacket for the autumn, love the pockets, fits perfectly if your just wearing a shirt or T shirt underneath but might be a bit snug if your want to layer up.

Navy OUFJ in Size L

Definitely the one I was missing. I am using it every day and it is, as described, a very versatile jacket. It is warmer than I expected - which is a good thing - and I can see I will get year-round use out of it. Besides that, as always, the quality is exceptional, with no detail spared. Keep doing what you're doing, FRAHM.

Great look and feel. It ‘just works’!

Has a great look and feel and ‘just works’; pockets are the right size, zip and poppers work as they should, size was just right. Time will tell but I think this will be a jacket I'll wear for many years to come.
