UPGRADED CLASSIC: 1920'S AMERICAN LOGGER'S JACKET

Google 'lumber jacket'. It's not pretty. Lots of soft, Monty Pythonesque checks ready to tear into shreds within 3 miles of a tree.

Go back 100 years, and American loggers HAD to have jackets that could take a beating. They wore the same cloth we use (but wet-waxed, not dry like ours...they didn't have washine machines) from British Millerain.

As ever, we took a style created for absolute functionality, and improved it's form, without loosing it's unpretentious hard-working roots.

DRAG IT THROUGH BRAMBLES

British Millerain of Rochdale's heavyweight dry-waxed cotton really can be dragged through sharp stuff. That means a jacket actually built for woodland, where jagged things stick out.

ALWAYS SMART

The advantage of such an impervious, structured fabric, is this jacket stays the same shape. It doesn't crease. It doesn't need ironing. So if you're busy in business (or feeling a bit lazy), the Woodland will look as great, wherever you are.

MMM, POCKETS

Is it possible to have too many pockets? No it isn't. There's eight of these... Including the ubiquitous (only at FRAHM) proper hand pockets.

We tailor for men from 5'4" to 6'10" tall.

With chest sizes from 36" to 56".

That means eleven sizes & free sleeve alterations, unique in jacket brands.

Importantly, we take time to tailor exceptional fabrics that drape flatteringly, not suck around the bits you didn't want to accentuate.

We make you look manly, in a "I want to feel good, but not look like I'm trying too hard" way.

If you're not sure of your size, we can check your exact size easily. Everyone here has been helping men with sizing for years.

WHEN SHOULD I ORDER?

The short answer is always as soon as you can.

We're booking production space and getting fabric made twelve months before they've even been made.

Options gradually run out as we tick down from 12 months ahead to the arrival date.

If you see gaps in the options of colour/size, etc, that's an alarm bell.

Why didn’t I buy one earlier

Had my eye on getting a Frahm for ages and wish I’d bought one sooner. The quality and fit are incredible and definitely a lifetime jacket. Wore it to London for work and was more than smart enough for client visits and then to the pub after work.

This jacket is outstanding, beautiful quality as is the norm with FRAHM, great fit and warmer than expected. Have taken it to Anfield for the spurs demolition and for a day walking with the family. Ticks all the boxes. This is my 4th, doubt it’ll be the last. The question is, what next ….

Another jacket with awesome service

I already own two Woodland workers jackets. This purchase was for a special birthday gift for a very special friend. It turns out I had ordered the wrong size, but after a chat with a very helpful chap, on a Sunday ( yes a Sunday) the correct size was sorted and shipped. Quite brilliant!! 😊
