Just feels great, cosy and comfy on my walk along the beach then up to the bookshop, in the 8 degrees feels like 4 degrees weather at the end of March. It’s not sweaty (like puffer jackets) and feels like I’m wearing smart menswear (dark blue version) not sportswear, or hill walking gear. The inner zip pocket is great for securing cards and the lower inner pocket is a good phone pocket; leaving the hand pockets free for my hands. Love the corduroy collar, especially when turned up against the wind.
I imagined this would be quite a short jacket, in fact it is about as long as the Original Utility Field Jacket. The fit is on the larger side compared to usual Frahm sizing and fits me well, especially across the shoulders. It has a superbly solid feel to it, and extremely useful, large pockets - the inner one holds my iPad mini with ease and now I rarely need to take a ‘man-bag’ with me. It has just the right amount of heft for a three-season jacket, and with a proper jumper underneath I sense it will do winter too. My new ‘go to’.
Very pleased. The eternal dilemma of having to opt for comfort or style is emphatically resolved as this is both comfortable and stylish. Lovely and warm it exudes good taste. The pockets are very useful. What more can a man want? I immediately ordered another Frahm jacket. Roll on April 2026!
Been eyeing this up for a while - needed a good waterproof jacket, this is superb, deserves all the bragging from Nick! Great details and shape. My favourite bits are the look of the front pockets, and the magnetic cuffs and pockets
