Size & Fit Guide
Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

Size Chart:

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves shortened from a minimum of 3cm for you when possible (most of the time it is). Typically alterations take 3 - 4 weeks.

If you have any questions please do Live Chat or email us on hello@frahmjacket.com

Style
Colour:

French worker's jackets, or chore coats, are an extremely popular men’s staple, but we found they are too heavy and unstructured. We wanted to create a more flattering, tailored version, with clean lines and greater comfort. The gorgeous brushed Italian fabric is at the centre of this thinking, with all the usual FRAHM attention to detail and longevity.

Since its launch in 2019, it has been a huge favourite, and so, having created the Waxed Lightweight Worker’s version too, it becomes the 'Original'.

We sell by pre-order. Most options on this year's Original Lightweight Worker's ran out ages ago. We've launched 2025, with 20% pre-order reward.

The more you wear it, the better it gets

I have two unwaxed versions of the LWJ and now two waxed ones in Tuscan Yellow and Moss Green. Both types are excellent but what I love about the waxed version in particular is how the more you wear it, the better the excellent Halley Stevensons fabric seems to look. I'm not suggesting that you mistreat this jacket but if you ever find that it's fallen on the floor or it's sitting under a pile of other Frahms then don't be alarmed - rest assured that you can just chuck it on and it'll be all the better for its ordeals. Lightweight in fabric but no lightweight in style.

Lightweight Loveliness

These are my summer go to jackets. Lightweight and classically cut. Perfectly placed pockets and high quality accessories make it a joy to wear. People always comment because it looks straightforward, but it's just that much better quality than similar items. Love the choice of colours - which one next??

What a belter

I have a couple of these jackets now. Super classic cut for summer. Nice and light and the colours are really special and unique. Lots of size choices and I have swung between L and Xl depoending on how much I want to layer underneath (and the ebb and flow of my seasonal belly bulges) The fabric is great and it's so easy to manage/care for. Cracking jackets and more colours to come.

Beautiful Colour - Current Fave!

I just received this beautiful green, waxed workers jacket and it is stunning. The colour is just so vibrant. I go this in XL and it gives me a bit more room than my normal Large size so I ca. pack on a few more layers during our Baltic summer! Can take it off at the moment and using it for dog walks, days out, pub visits. Just great. Fit and feel.

Great summer jacket

My second waxed workman’s to go with my dark navy. I’m not usually a yellow kind of guy but I love this Tuscan yellow which is deeper, richer and darker - great colour for the summer. Cheers again Frahm.
