Got this jacket in archive sale, wasn’t on my ‘hit-list’ but at a great price, so thought, I know the quality is there, sure I’ll find a use for it 🤔. Now arrived and I love it, pictures dont do it justice, didn’t realise it had scalloped back, so many pockets and beautiful sky blue lining. Really really pleased I took the punt on it. Great sizing too……👍👍

Need a deep freeze or colder weather to try properly. Packaging great and nice touch with the signed certificate of authenticity. Think sleeves might be slightly short for my arms (no more than an inch) when reaching forward - always conscious of gaps between gloves and coat from Himalayan expeditions - so when I give it a proper test I may see if that can be adjusted.

Managed to nab this in the archive sale. Tried it on and it's a great fit, good quality and toasty warm which isn't what I need in August, but looking forward to wearing it when the temperatures plunge. This is my 3rd Frahm with another on pre-order, maybe some space for one or two more...

My first Frahm but certainly won’t be the last. Excellent fit and quality. Having studied the social media for months I had a nervous wait for it to arrive, but need not have worried. This jacket is everything promised and more.

It arrived not in a box, but in a shaft of divine light, accompanied by the faint hum of heroic orchestral music and the smell of freshly chopped cedar. The FRAHM Thermal Ripstop Field Parka didn’t just fit — it ascended onto my body like a whispered prophecy.

First impression? It’s like being hugged by a grizzly bear who’s recently completed a tailoring apprenticeship on Savile Row. It’s so warm I briefly considered relocating to the Arctic just to give it a fair challenge. I suspect if I fell into an ice crevasse, this jacket would politely decline to let me freeze and instead make a cup of tea while waiting for the helicopter rescue it summoned using a built-in Morse code patch (probably hidden in one of the seventeen mysteriously perfect pockets).

Speaking of which: the pocket game is unhinged. I found a packet of biscuits in one I didn’t remember owning. There’s probably a secret Narnia in the inside left chest. I wouldn’t be surprised if one pocket contains the original Magna Carta and another hides the last known dodo. They're that deep.

The “ripstop” fabric? Feels like it could deflect minor meteorites. I once brushed past a rusty fence and the fence apologised. This jacket doesn’t tear. It judges things that try to tear it, and they leave, embarrassed.

And the hood — dear god, the hood. Pop that up and it’s like slipping into a stealth tent lined with unicorn fluff and old vinyl records. Sound is muted, the wind sulks off in defeat, and you become a mysterious wanderer, probably with a tragic backstory and a pet falcon.

It’s also wildly flattering. I wore it to the corner shop and someone asked if I was “in the military, or possibly a poet?” Honestly, I think I’m both now.
