FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

 

 

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves shortened from a minimum of 3cm for you when possible (most of the time it is). Typically alterations take 3 - 4 weeks.

Smarter and more comfortable than a trucker jacket, tougher than a normal deck jacket, this is a resilient, insulated men's style for cool to mild weather from early Autumn to late Spring, 6c to 16c. Showerproof, wind and thornproof, it always looks smart with a t-shirt, jeans and boots.

This is a jacket that fits in just as well chatting over a coffee outside a Kensington cafe, as nervously watching bears catching salmon in Alaska.

295gram British Millerain washable dry-waxed cotton twill canvas exterior, that can literally be 'dragged through brambles'

Brushed odour-resistant pure cotton flannel quilted lining, including the sleeves

Primaloft™ recycled insulation - greater longevity, higher performance, machine washable & not cruel, compared to goose down

Custom stainless steel shank rivet buttons at front, cuffs and hip adjusters

Pure cotton corduroy turn-down collar, cuff lining and hand pocket lining

CARE

Machine wash cool on a sensitive wash, low spin, non-bio or sensitive detergent, no conditioner. If you use conditioner by mistake, rinse afterwards. Do not dry clean

Dry flat or hang. Cool iron, if you can be bothered. We never bother

This is a natural cotton jacket, so it will develop it's own unique patina from wear & washing over time, a bit like jeans. Does not need reproofing

Sustainability: The most important way we can help is always making a garment that is built to last, not binned after a season. We also of course have no excess stock, as we sell on pre-order
