THE EARLYBIRD DISCOUNT IS ENDING SOON ON ALL OUR AUTUMN STYLES
FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.
Size Chart:
Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.
HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)
CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.
ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).
If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.
"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.
If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves shortened from a minimum of 3cm for you when possible (most of the time it is).

Your jacket is due to arrive 17th February 2023.
Rugged, easy-care casual mid-weight jacket that's stain, odour and weather resistant.
I've worked with merino wool more than any other material in my career - it's nature's performance fabric. I'm obsessed, because it's so versatile. Thus I designed this Merino Mechanic's for myself as my main going-out jacket. I don't like ironing or careful wear, so put together a grown-up modern classic that I can thrown on but will take the spills & knocks of pub life/fatherhood/other.
Merino wool is an amazingly tough & comfortable performance fabric, rarely used for smart, tailored clothing. We wanted to take the softness, temperature regulation, odour prevention & stain resistance of merino and apply it to a crisp urban design.
This is a luxury urban investment that whispers its pedigree rather than shouting it. We've adapted an American classic, the mechanic's jacket, by swapping cheap synthetics or cotton for something tougher. It seems counter intuitive, but because we're using wool, it has far greater width of application. Merino wool makes it cool in warm conditions & warm in the cold. Great for sitting in a pub garden in the sun, but staying comfortable as the sun goes down. Throw in Great British Rain Shower (or spilt pint) resistance too.
Lined with our signature tartan flannel, we've applied our usual attention to every detail, with hardened stainless steel YKK zips, brushed horn buttons & tough twin-needle stitching.
Clearly classic gentleman's style CAN combine with toughness and longevity.
Weather range from 10c to 20c with single layer, or to 4c with jumper. Wind & shower resistant.
We offer free global express shipping on all orders.
Pre-orders for the Merino Mechanics Jacket 2023 will be sent out by 17th February 2023.

Sooooo cosy ! I purchased a Charcoal grey version back in June, so it has sat unworn in my wardrobe, until earlier this month, when the temperature dipped a little. I just love the cut and fit (XL),the tartan lining and the style of the collar. The jacket has a nice cosy feeling and will come out of the wardrobe when the weather deems to decide that it’s a bit on the chilly side for my Harrington. It just feels that bit smarter, although it’s a tough decision ! The only thing that I will soon address,is that the sleeves are a “tad on the long side”,so I will return it to Frahm, for the free sleeve adjustment. A great addition to my Frahm jacket collection !
How many times have you booked a table a a good looking restaurant, paid that bit extra for what you hope will be a special meal yet left feeling cheated?
Not with FRAHM, yes you are paying more than what you may normally pay for a Jacket, but; this lot are the real deal.
Looks great, feels great on, exudes quality, it really is a cut above the rest.
Just sometimes you do get what you pay for and this is one of these times.
Kudos to you fine people.
Snapped up in the sale. It’s a beautiful garment. Spot on sizewise and the detail is up to Frahms’ usual standard. Classy and elegant and yet perfect for the ‘everyday’. I tend to wear your stuff for posh twice and then it becomes a staple. I climbed ‘The Steeple’ above Lochgoil last weekend in my blue shackett and was the talk of the toon!
