Moleskin Worker's Jacket 2021

Size & Fit Guide

Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

measurement guide

Next, compare your measurements with our size chart below to see which Frahm jacket is right for you. Our jumpers are also sized in the same way.

size chart

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves altered for you when possible (most of the time it is). Please Live Chat or email us to discuss.

Moleskin is a fabric that truly bisects Tough & Beautiful. It's wonderfully protective, yet extremely cosy. This is a mid-weight jacket that we have tweaked to make even better. It's what we do.

NICK'S DESIGN NOTES

"Moleskin achieves something surprisingly extraordinary: It's natural, very resilient, yet extremely soft & luxurious. That is as FRAHM as it gets. How could I not design one?"

Moleskin is a fabric that truly bisects Tough & Beautiful. It's wonderfully protective, yet extremely cosy.

We chose a mid-weight moleskin and went to work tweaking a classic into something even better, as we do.

There's the ubiquitous (for FRAHM) twin needle stitching, British Courtney's corozo nut buttons & soft tartan flannel lining in key areas, making this a purely natural, vegan and biodegradable jacket.

There's a pen & sunglasses pocket and as ever with all our jackets, sleek hand pockets - because jackets are better for hands than jeans, or thin air.

And no, it's not made from moles. It just feels like moles.

Use inside or outside in mild to cold weather, in sun, wind or light rain. With a single layer the temperature range is 8c to +20c, or down to 4c with a jumper. The fit is forgiving and can accommodate a jumper or multiple thin layers.

Lovely jacket.

Stylish and comfortable. The lining matching the shirt I also have was a chance pleasant surprise.

More pockets than my jacket

I love this worksheet. Its thick, warm and comfy and super practical. I now realise every overshirt should have hand warmer pockets. It's even got a special pencil pocket for my glasses!

Fine Versatile Jacket

The moleskin jacket is wonderfully soft and comfortable. The fit tends to the roomy side, I'd say. Very pleased with my purchase.

Love this jacket

Loved this so much I had to buy the other colour!

FRAHM guy

I like FRAHM - I like their ethos, I like their products, I like their staff. One of my brothers killed himself, and FRAHM's modest but meaningful support of mental health issues is important and sincere.

But there's more...here's a story about my new cobalt blue perfectly fitting FRAHM moleskin jacket. At a trendy COP26 (I'm not a fan) event, a charming lady approached me. "I LOVE your jacket!", "why thank you", "I love the way it matches your camera strap" (yes, really. Funky vintage Olympus), "well, I like to make the effort" (it was a pure coincidence tbh), "and you know what else it matches?", "no, please tell me", "your blue eyes".

Reader, I didn't marry her, but game, set and match to FRAHM.

Bravo to Nick, Leonie and the team. It's been a blast.
