Stretch Denim Workshirt 2021

Size Guide
Size chart

Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

Size by measurements, not that you are a 'Large' or 'XL' in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is. We are experienced fitters.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit. Our arm lengths are longer than most.

If you have short arms, we will happily have your sleeves altered for you when possible (most of the time it is). Please Live Chat or email us to discuss.

If you have any questions please do Live Chat or email us on hello@frahmjacket.com

This garment is sold out. Due to demand this is a pre-order, due to arrive May 20th 2021. By pre-ordering you guarantee your size & colour, and we say thanks with 20% off.

Nick’s Design Notes: I get frustrated by denim, as it can be restrictive & hot. I look for comfort and mobility in an everyday garment, especially as I'm always active - lifting boxes, etc. So we created this to be light, with just the right amount of stretch, for throwing on and forgetting about.

The FRAHM Stretch Denim Workshirt is a beautifully practical, flattering and masculine classic. Lightweight yet tough, it is extremely comfortable as a three season worker’s jacket type layer, or as a tough shirt in it’s own right.

The fabric is 5.6oz raw denim that we have gently washed for your ‘wear it straight out the box’ convenience. It’s cotton with 2% lycra to give it a neat, tailored style that gives when you move.

We’ve kitted this garment out with corozo nut buttons from British button makers, Courtneys of Gloucestershire, in their natural off-white colour. All except a single red button is a subtle brand highlight on the left cuff adjuster. These beauties are tough yet biodegradable. Twin needle stitching throughout gives this lightweight denim chore jacket even greater strength. Finally. we hate not having pockets to put hands into, so we added some.

Use in mild to hot weather or indoors, as a light jacket, shirt or mid-layer. Suggested temperature range is 12c to 24c. The fit is forgiving for real bodies, but with a crisp tailored finish.

Technical notes:

  • 5.6oz lightweight stretch denim, 98% organic cotton, 2% lycra
  • Corozo nut buttons from Courtneys of Gloucestershire
  • Two button flap chest pockets and two hidden hand pockets
  • Button adjusted cuffs
  • Pen slot on left chest pocket
  • Red contrast hang loop at neck
  • Twin needle stitching throughout, for toughness
  • Interior sewn-in herringbone weave silk brand and care labels
  • No exterior branding
  • Lifetime fault guarantee
  • Machine washable, little ironing required

Great fit, great design, great shirt! Really like the added stretch and side pockets.

Jermyn street quality in casual style at great price

My quest to find Jermyn street quality in a casual shirt at a fair price has ended here with Frahm. The quality of construction and materials is excellent. Split yolk, double stitching and clean seams. My only criticism is that I think an elbow patch would be a worthwhile consideration. I hope with time the range will be expanded.

The Spinal Tap of shirts

Frahm is The Burj al Arab/Spinal Tap of clothing. You know when there’s just not enough stars past five or ‘go up to eleven’?

Where do you start? Fit - like a glove, as Jim Carrey may say, not too snug especially for lived-in bods. Cut right enough to look cool and fit well, without feeling the need to check if Spanx does blokey stuff.

Quality? Here’s a clue - you know those brands that bandy words around like ‘artisan’, ‘bespoke’ and other guff? Yeah, if they were… why are they telling you rather than trusting their clothes to? I have a denim Ralph Lauren shirt bought in their ‘luxury’ Dubai Mall branch, and it can’t hold a proverbial candle to this shirt in any way, shape or form - be it looks, quality, style or comfort. And it was more expensive than this bad boy.

Practicality? Tick, tick, tick. Love the pockets - perfect to slip the hands in horizontally on the outside, and wordy me, they even have two pockets inside for the vertical drop of that sneaky Mars bar wifey says you should be cutting out.

Customer Service? Real good goods for real people, by really nice people, seems to be the mindset Nick & Emmalou strive for - and it tells. Speaking of Mind, in these strange times it’s lovely to know you and Frahm are doing a little bit to help others than need your help with the donations, but please don’t let it stop there. We can all do better.

Price? Okay, you buy cheap, you buy twice. Frahm’s a bit like Dubai - no money, no honey. Sometimes you have to spend a little, to get a lot. Whilst other manufacturers seem to be in a ‘race to the bottom’ to go lower cost, Frahm is clearly going for lots of value and benefits for a terrific price. These are shirts that clearly keep on giving.

You’re not buying a shirt, you’re buying a relationship with real people running a really good company doing great things. If that alone isn’t enough to get you to ‘pipe down and pay’, just know these shirts definitely are the puppy’s parts.

Great stuff

Perfect overshirt - even better if the pockets were about 2cm longer to fit my oversized smartphone!😃
Anyway, I ordered another in the other colour and it’s just arrived today - doubly happy. Thanks.

A Workshirt that is so good to work in

I love this shirt, it fits like a glove and unlike other shirts I have purchased, this one looks great and moves with you as you work. Really nice, as always.
