Size & Fit Guide

Our customers rave about our fit, check out the reviews.

FRAHM jackets are cut for real men's bodies and action. We've subtly altered classic tailoring for more movement, for real life. Our jackets do not have a restrictive teenage 'fashion' cut.

HOW TO FIT YOURSELF

Size by your actual body measurements, not copying your size in another brand. Fit can vary wildly between brands and their size may not be ours.

HEIGHT: This is the easy one – measure yourself from the top of your head to your heel. (Sometimes easier to do against a wall we find.)

CHEST: To find out your chest size, take a tape measure and wrap it under your armpits at the fullest part of your chest.

ARM: Measure from the shoulder seam to the bony bit on your wrist (yes, that is the biological term).

measurement guide

Next, compare your measurements with our size chart below to see which Frahm jacket is right for you.

size chart

If you can't measure your chest circumference, the best guide to size is your best fitting existing jacket or suit jacket. Then Live Chat us and we can advise what your size is.

"Tall" sizes are for very tall men, offering exactly the same jacket with significantly longer arms and torso. Don't buy one if you're above average - our standard sizes will fit.

If you have shorter arms, we will happily have your sleeves altered for you when possible (most of the time it is). Please Live Chat or email us to discuss.

Our take on a beautifully practical and comfortable, classic denim shirt. Lightweight with just the right amount of stretch, it's the perfect throw-it-on and forget about it shirt that still manages to look smart.

Nick's Design Notes

Nick’s Design Notes: I get frustrated by denim, as it can be restrictive & hot. I look for comfort and mobility in an everyday garment, especially as I'm always active - lifting boxes, etc. So we created this to be light, with just the right amount of stretch, for throwing on and forgetting about.

The FRAHM Stretch Denim Workshirt is a beautifully practical, flattering and masculine classic. Lightweight yet tough, it is extremely comfortable as a three season worker’s jacket type layer, or as a tough shirt in it’s own right.

The fabric is 5.6oz raw denim that we have gently washed for your ‘wear it straight out the box’ convenience. It’s cotton with 2% lycra to give it a neat, tailored style that gives when you move.

We’ve kitted this garment out with corozo nut buttons from British button makers, Courtneys of Gloucestershire, in their natural off-white colour. All except a single red button is a subtle brand highlight on the left cuff adjuster. These beauties are tough yet biodegradable. Twin needle stitching throughout gives this lightweight denim chore jacket even greater strength. Finally. we hate not having pockets to put hands into, so we added some.

Use in mild to hot weather or indoors, as a light jacket, shirt or mid-layer. Suggested temperature range is 12c to 24c. The fit is forgiving for real bodies, but with a crisp tailored finish.

Absolutely gorgeous! I’ve already got the blue one and loved it enough to order in black, and well worth the wait. The quality is just superb, the stitching is perfect, the buttons will never come off and I love the attention to detail with the red button on the cuff. The material is lovely too, feels tough enough to go to work in but soft enough to sleep in, with just the right amount of stretch. The overall fit is amazing, it genuinely feels like it was tailored to fit me, close enough for a fitted appearance but with room to move. Love the packaging too, or lack off! I hate it when new clothes come with a dozen bits of card tacked all over them by little bits of single use plastic, with glib comments on the cards about considering the environment! There’s nothing in a parcel from Frahm that doesn’t need to be there. Just beautifully designed and crafted clothing from a company doing so much more than that, with their ongoing support for mental health awareness. Got a ventile jacket and another workers shirt on order too, can’t wait for those! Love what you’re doing guys, keep up the great work!

Awesome shirt. Getting lots of positive comments and not wanting to share the details of Frahm so there's more products for me!

Expensive, but good value

I have 3 Frahm jackets on pre-order, but the stretch denim work shirt is the first piece of theirs I have received. It has immediately become my go to shirt for day to day wear. Rugged but still soft, the two little pockets are even more useful than you may think as they are stitched inside so can be used as reasonably secure ‘inside’ pockets as well.

In terms of fit, I’m a fairly hefty lump at over 18 stone and not quite 6 ft, with 42” jeans and a beer belly. The XXXXL is perfect after a small amount of shrinkage after its first 30°c wash.

Roll on delivery of the jackets!
